Born in the 50's, maturing in the 60's and 70's and surviving through 2020 is more than a trip, it is an adventure and only by the grace of God has this little boy made it. This is the second book of 'Growing up Lindsey.' In essence the biography of (not all but) most of his adventures. Funny, entertaining and maybe even educational, especially if you know this young man.

The final book of in a series of books about Howard Lindsey. Born in the 50's, a true Baby Boomer. Growing up around great men and women, having a blessed life, but yet with the disappointments and joys that came with his time. This (the sixth) and other books were written for my children and grand children. Especially for those I may never get to see with my mortal eyes. I think about my unborn grand children and beyond. I love them even though they have not been woven in their mother's womb by our gracious Father in heaven. God bless and always remember to live with courage, sacrifice, compassion and humanity.

Hopefully this is the last of a four book series which cover 70 years in the life of Howard Lindsey. It is a sincere effort to share his life with his children, grand children and others whom he may never know. 'Growing up Lindsey, ' 'Still Growing Lindsey, ' 'Still Living Lindsey, ' are now concluded with this volume, 'Still Breathing Lindsey.' Howard was born in the early 50's to remarkable parents and a much larger family. A true 'baby boomer.' The times that he lived in was constantly changing and doing so very rapidly. Learning to improvise, adapt and overcome was his mantra if there was ever one. His underlining philosophy was never quit and never let anyone tell him he could not do something. His love for his parents, sisters, children and his students were his passion and also his hidden sustaining source of strength and encouragement. His four autobiographies tell of his adventures. His poetry in 'Mo Chusile tell the depth of his heart and love. His life was punctuated with failures, heartaches and depressions and at the same time contained ecstasies of successes, joys and an untold number of loves and tears. These volumes can entertain and teach any reader. But their truest benefit will come to his family, this includes his beloved students.

As reflected in the title, "Mo Chuisle", Lindsey has written poetry that touches at the deepest core of what it means to be human and to love. In both classical and modern sense, his ballads weave the ancient thread of traditional Gaelic verse and link this tradition of poetry with the modern world. Such expressions as "The pulse of my heart" are eternal and speak directly to emotions in ways that prose cannot endeavor.

Since its beginnings in the 1850s, Eugene has attracted independent thinkers. Its early leaders sited the town in a picturesque location along the Willamette River and were confident that agriculture and timber businesses would guide its growth. As Eugene transformed from a settlement to a city, its citizens took an active voice in the creation of its identity, like advocating for a main railroad line to run through town and determining how the commercial district would branch out from the central downtown core. Today, the population continues to express strong and diverse feelings about politics, personal rights, and the environment as it shares the common experience of living and working in a place of great natural beauty.

Eugene Onegin is the master work of the poet whom Russians regard as the fountainhead of their literature. Set in 1820s Russia, Pushkin's verse novel follows the fates of three men and three women. Engaging, full of suspense, and varied in tone, it contains a large cast of characters and offers the reader many literary, philosophical, and autobiographical digressions, often in a highly satirical vein. Eugene Onegin was Pushkin's own favourite work, and this new translation by Stanley Mitchell conveys the literal sense and the poetic music of the original.
