The following are works of art in images, poetry, and prose by writers, poets, photographers, and visual artists living in (or creating works about) the U.S.-Mexico border states. We are transcending the barriers of race, color, sex, creed, and nationality. The purpose of this book and future efforts is to create a strong sense of unity through our shared identity and art. These are the creators painting the face of the border and telling the stories that shape its reality. These are the works of the artists creating the border in their image.
There are some bad hombres and nasty women in this country, folks. We compiled a collection of writings and art in this book from some of those bad apples (even though some, we suppose, are good people). We just know that everybody is gonna love this book. We make the best books. And everybody knows it. It's the most beautiful book. It's got gold letters on the front and back cover. Advertimos hace algunos a os atr s -y otros colegas con nosotros, en ocasi n de intercambiar experiencias en los foros y congresos internacionales de seguridad vial- que la mayor a de los intentos pedag gicos y did cticos llevados a cabo hasta entonces, adolec an de un conjunto de saberes te ricos y pr cticos que permitieran al educando incorporar con menor resistencia y mayor comprensi n la normativa de su pa s o regi n; sin ver a esta ltima como una imposici n, sino como una herramienta para colaborar en un tr nsito seguro, desde su rol de conductor o peat n. El tema no es nuevo, pero esta propuesta que hoy presentamos, est motivada en nuevas ideas, nuevos modos de incorporarlas fijando nuevos horizontes educativos, que nos alejen de los clich s, de las remanidas recomendaciones, de las im genes repetidas y el llamado a tomar consciencia -sin dar mayores fundamentos-.

A partir de uma contextualiza o hist rica dos sistemas informatizados e do fen meno da inclus o digital no mbito da educa o b sica brasileira, a finalidade da presente pesquisa descrever e analisar as pol ticas p blicas de inclus o digital formuladas e implementadas na rede p blica municipal de ensino de Uberl ndia - RPME/UDI, no per odo 1999-2012. Os objetivos deste trabalho foram: a) descrever e analisar criticamente o processo hist rico de surgimento e difus o dos sistemas informatizados e sua rela o com a educa o como possibilidade de promo o das pol ticas p blicas de "inclus o digital"; b) analisar o percurso hist rico das pol ticas de inclus o digital no mbito da educa o, prescritas e desenvolvidas no Brasil e; c) descrever e analisar as pol ticas de inclus o digital, prescritas e institu das no munic pio de Uberl ndia com base no estudo da documenta o oficial e nas percep es de professores.
Diese Studie ist Teil der Forschungslinie ffentliche Politik und Management im Bildungswesen des Masterstudiengangs in Erziehungswissenschaften an der F deralen Universit t von Uberl ndia und ihr zentrales Thema lautet: "Die Politik der digitalen Inklusion der kommunalen ffentlichen Schulen in Uberl ndia". Ausgehend von einer historischen Kontextualisierung der computergest tzten Systeme und des Ph nomens der digitalen Inklusion im Rahmen der brasilianischen Grundbildung besteht der Zweck dieser Forschung darin, die ffentlichen Ma nahmen zur digitalen Inklusion zu beschreiben und zu analysieren, die im Zeitraum 1999-2012 im kommunalen ffentlichen Schulnetz von Uberl ndia - RPME/UDI - formuliert und umgesetzt wurden. Die Ziele dieser Arbeit waren: a) den historischen Prozess der Entstehung und Verbreitung computergest tzter Systeme und ihre Beziehung zur Bildung als M glichkeit der F rderung ffentlicher Ma nahmen zur "digitalen Inklusion" zu beschreiben und kritisch zu analysieren; b) den historischen Weg der in Brasilien vorgeschriebenen und entwickelten Ma nahmen zur digitalen Inklusion im Bildungsbereich zu analysieren und c) die in der Gemeinde Uberl ndia vorgeschriebenen und eingef hrten Ma nahmen zur digitalen Inklusion auf der Grundlage des Studiums der offiziellen Dokumentation und der Wahrnehmungen der Lehrer zu beschreiben und zu analysieren.
