As a mom with young children, I struggled with two different problems. First, my kids were poor readers. Second, our family needed more quality time together.I decided to read a book aloud with my family, thinking that would help solve the first problem. Little did I know that it would solve both beyond my wildest expectations. After we finished the first novel, we set a goal to read one hundred books aloud together. It wasn't easy, and I had to find creative strategies to work through challenges as they arose. But the results have been amazing and well worth the effort.My children are reading more and reading better. Our family created moments and memories that will last a lifetime.
