In this book I am gathering the words of the Christ. We need to remember that what He said, even in the greatest possible isolation, as it happens in this volume, is not His property in the same manner that a book belongs to its author. If He had written these words, this would be His book, however the Disciples recorded them, each one according to his own personality and to his particular relationship with Him. How I understand their meaning, can be seen in the footnotes, where I suggest some possible interpretations calling to a discussion.
