Although the score of countries comprising Russia's near abroad (the former non-Russian Soviet republics) and far abroad (the former non-Russian Warsaw Pact states) are behaving with variably increasing independence in their domestic and foreign policies, Russia continues to regard them as remaining within the same core-periphery sphere of influence formerly exerted by the Soviet Union within the same geographic space. Russia misinterprets bids by these countries to adopt liberalizing structural reforms and to join Euro-Atlantic organizations as foreign-inspired and inimical to Russia's security. Born in Craiova, Romania, Georgeta Dumitrescu is the only child of a photographer and a taylor. After she graduated University of mechanics in her native city, Georgeta had worked at National Railways in mother country as a mechanical engineer. After a nine years of a unsuccessful marriage with two childen, and a very difficult divorce, Georgeta left Romania and moved to London. Here she worked in different places, like restaurants, supermarket as a store assistant, hotels and private houses as a housekeeper. In 2013 Georgeta started up a new maintainance company and she works there as manager. In 2018 she turned back to her first love, trains, working as train dispatcher and customer service in train stations in south London. Georgeta is a very passionate in writing, she like to create stories, from her own life experience and from others she met. She enjoys to let her imagination go crazy, having so much fun. Now she is very happy with her job and with her sons, already big men, and enjoying all together this beautiful life.
