In the hilarious story "Monkeys in my closet", a group of playful, yet troublesome monkeys turns a little boy's life comically upside down. In the tradition of "Curious George", these just as curious as well as mischievous monkeys are just as much fun as, you guessed it..........a barrel full of monkeys

It is all about the "Locker Room." Kid or adult, the quest, obsession at times is about fitting in room of sort. We all want to be a part of something bigger than our self at the core of our being. This book is about my personal experiences with that and the REAL reasons for most if not all take sports enhancement drugs. It is also about my inabilities to stand up and do the right thing knowing I was doing wrong. At any cost I wanted to be in that locker room. In the end I wanted out, at any cost. I am not sure which one is harder being, an athlete, parent or coach. The pressure to succeed accompanied with a "win at all cost" attitude makes it almost impossible to stand up for what you believe in today's world. I do think it is possible. Steroids run rapid, not only in my particular sport, bodybuilding, but in most sports; sports enhancement drugs or SED's are also used as a form of beauty product in order to look good with females. I have been in the steroid circle for twenty-five years; I know how the system works. By now the public has been insulted so much by the cover up lines it is sadly a joke.

This is a Testimonial of how God showed up unexpectedly when we needed him the most, changing our lives and hundreds more in an indescribable way. Did our lives suddenly become easier? No, but the cups began to full of Hope and our souls did become new again This book is how God saved my sweet fianc e and at the same time restored my faith as a believer, showing up in the most unlikely of places. God has a plan for each of us no matter a believer or non-believer, new in your faith or a mature Christian-it matters not to Him. Thank you LORD so much for watching over us, even when we did not think you cared. Thank you for having our back when all seemed lost. Thank you for being our Hope in our darkest of days. Most of all, thank you for just being You

In December 1999, as Scotland prepared for the biggest Hogmanay of all time, a gruesome discovery was made by a police diving team on a training exercise in Loch Lomond. One by one, limbs from a cadaver were found and brought to the surface. Days later, a severed head was washed up on a beach in western Scotland and forensically matched with the limbs. Police soon had a prime suspect for the murder - William Beggs. But how had they been able to ascertain that it was Beggs right from the start? Just eight years earlier, Beggs had met Brian McQuillan at a disco and the pair had returned to Beggs' flat. He had set upon McQuillan with a knife, slashing him severely on the body but brave McQuillan escaped with his life by leaping through a first-floor window. Beggs was jailed for six years for the attack and, once released, was kept under the watchful eye of Strathclyde police. This in-depth and fascinating book investigates Beggs from his somewhat ordinary days as a member of the Young Conservatives through to his eventual conviction and incareration for the horrific murder of Barry Wallace. It examines how he managed to create an air of respectability around himself while perpetrating the most vicious of crimes; it looks at how, following the attack on McQuillan, police became aware that they had a serial killer in the making on their hands and how, from behind bars, Beggs still manages to make headlines.

On a cold, damp January night in 1961, 19-year-old Pearl Gamble made the final adjustments to her appearance, said goodbye to her mother and set off excitedly with two friends to the local dance. Little did Mrs Gamble know, it was the last time that she would see her daughter alive...The following day, the naked body of Pearl was discovered in the fields surrounding the small rural hamlet. She had been ferociously attacked: there were stab wounds on her body and she had been severly beated around the face. A post-mortem revealed a shocking list of injuries: one of the stab wounds had punctured her heart and would have led to her death had the perpetrator not finished the job by strangualtion. This-in-depth and intriguing book investigates all aspects of the murder: it looks at the police investigation as it unfolded; it traces the last known movements of Pearl and her friends at the local dance and it analyses the character and strange behaviour of the murderer, Robert McGladdery. McGladdery has been described as a Walter Mitty character who managed to lead the police on a merry dance once he was confirmed as their prime suspect. Strangely, almost everyone in Newry Town knew that he was the only suspect and watched while he was tailed by plain clothes police is an attempt to catch him returning to vital evidence which was concealed away from the murder scene.

We have come to know that our ability to survive and grow as a nation to a very large degree depends upon our scientific progress. Moreover, it is not enough simply to keep 1 abreast of the rest of the world in scientific matters. We must maintain our leadership. President Harry Truman spoke those words in 1950, in the aftermath of World War II and in the midst of the Cold War. Indeed, the scientific and engineering leadership of the United States and its allies in the twentieth century played key roles in the successful outcomes of both World War II and the Cold War, sparing the world the twin horrors of fascism and totalitarian communism, and fueling the economic prosperity that followed. Today, as the United States and its allies once again find themselves at war, President Truman’s words ring as true as they did a half-century ago. The goal set out in the Truman Administration of maintaining leadership in science has remained the policy of the U. S. Government to this day: Dr. John Marburger, the Director of the Office of Science and Technology (OSTP) in the Executive Office of the President, made remarks to that effect during his 2 confirmation hearings in October 2001. The United States needs metrics for measuring its success in meeting this goal of maintaining leadership in science and technology. That is one of the reasons that the National Science Foundation (NSF) and many other agencies of the U. S.

You can never have too many monsters! This sourcebook contains 46 new monsters found in the Inner Sea region — all invented specifically for the Pathfinder Campaign Setting. Some, like the gearsmen of Numeria or the moth-like star monarchs who serve the goddess of dreams, have been mentioned many times in Pathfinder Campaign Setting books, but others like the alien vespergaunt or Rahadoum's desert-dwelling whirlmaws have only been obliquely illustrated or mentioned before. And some make their appearance for the first time in print! With monsters ranging in challenge rating from 1/2 (such as the capering monkey goblin or the enigmatic lashuntas) all the way up to beyond CR 20 (including two immense spawn of Rovagug and three powerful outsiders with sinister agendas for the Inner Sea region, like the exiled infernal duke Lorthact), along with three new monstrous templates (the exotic mind-draining vetala vampire, the blighted fey of Fangwood, and the twisted mutants of the Mana Wastes), the Inner Sea Bestiary is set to add a host of new favorite beasties to any Pathfinder game!
