It defines history as the accurate story which preserves the memory of the past experiences of human societies. The functionof history determines its method and provides the answer to the question: how secure is our knowledge of the past? In the author’s view, history is empirical and its results are for ever provisional. The relative merits of dogmatism and scepticism are examined and several interpretations among English historians are scrutinized.

Vous pensez sans doute qu'il n'est pas possible de devenir Rentier gr ce l'immobilier ? Et bien, laissez moi vous raconter comment je suis devenu rentier de l'immobilier en 12 mois. Issu d'une famille pauvre (RSA...) je me suis dit, Tom, tente quelque chose car de toute fa on tu ne pourras pas tre plus bas que bas. N'ayant pas fait d tudes universitaire, j'ai d croch un boulot de vendeur en CDI dans un magasin de bricolage pour un salaire de seulement 900 (c' tait le smic il y a 15 ans...). J'ai occup ce poste 9 ans et ensuite j'ai travaill comme commercial pour un constructeur de maison durant 1 an avec un salaire peine plus lev ... Peu de temps apr s, je me suis lanc dans l'entreprenariat comme Auto-entrepreneur (Economiste de la construction) et 1 an apr s je me lan ai donc dans l'investissement immobilier sans apport et avec un emploi tr s pr caire... (auto-entrepreneur depuis 12 mois...). J'ai pu convaincre la banque de me financer 110% pour acqu rir un petit immeuble (avec frais de Notaire et travaux) qui apr s 4 mois d'optimisation du bien et de travaux me rapporta une rentabilit de 20%.... Je venais donc de me cr er une bonne affaire et ainsi pu montrer au banquier que je savais investir (contrairement 98% des fran ais qui atteignent rarement les 8%). Par cons quent je n'ai eu aucun mal obtenir un second financement aupr s de ma banque (financ 110% galement) sur un bien qui me rapporta autant de rentabilit que le premier. En 12 mois, j' tais devenu rentier de l'immobilier. L'affaire tait donc lanc e, je me d gageais un cash-flow me permettant de ne plus avoir travailler et laissant par cons quence mon activit d'auto-entrepreneur en stand-by pour me consacrer ma nouvelle activit d'Investisseur Immobilier.
