We first met Jack Henry in the story 'They don't know Jack'. We saw how the Lottery changed not only his life but his family and friends lives forever. We followed him through his adventures in 'Summer Heat' as he got to know his new wife, Abigail as their families joined together. Now we follow Jack through the last chapter in his saga as around every corner, a surprise awaits. Watch how his faith changes not only the people he meets but an entire nation, as he takes us on an unlikely run for the Presidency. Jack shows America why our forefathers chose the motto "In God we Trust" as our national motto and what God can do when he's asked to get involved. This is not a book about religion but rather a book about a man that faces the same everyday issues we all face. He knows God but comes to realize he is never alone. God is always there in every event in your life if you just take a second and listen for him.

2. The story of MOLLIE MAE began when my younger daughter was three years old as she and her older sister requested yet another bedtime story. This story just flowed in words that, as my daughter asked questions, grew to describe a little girl seemingly lost in a world surrounded by those who did not care. Over time, this story was requested again and again so that much resulted in an attempt to explain how such a sad thing might occur in the real world. I credit my daughter with the unfolding of Molly Mae and her life in this story for, without her continual persistence in her need to understand, this little tale might have been forgotten. Instead, it is here for all to consider the lives of children who may appear different. In contrast, the story of JACK HENRY counters the dysfunction and abuse in the family of Molly Mae. Indeed, Jack Henry is very safe in his world and this security lends itself to creativity, imagination and simple joy in living as he learns much from a dear great-grandfather.

Reviews "Jack Henry's writing is the real deal. No bullshit, no posing. This is essential American literature."- Tony O'Neill, Down and Out on Murder Mile (Harper Perennial) "I have always admired Jack's writing, his fearless self-revelations combined with a world-view that is equal parts jaded and hopeful...the way he turns himself inside out, and then goes down a little deeper, moves in a bit closer, and, just as you think he's in for the kill, suddenly...a gentle word, a line so full of such graceful beauty you get, well, slammed in the face. Again." - Puma Perl, Belinda and her Friends (Erbacce Press) "Jack Henry's poetic voice speaks here again with mastery and precision...These poems will cut you, then rifle through your wallet. But they will also reveal vulnerability and humanity while so doing. This is a book you need." - David McLean, Hellbound (Epic Rites Press) "Jack Henry's large heart, a veteran of wars, accidents, fears, madness, disillusion, is, in these 80 different dance halls of image and sound, breaking invisible bread with jesus as the latter downs his meds with shots of tequila, while on the corner of 6th and Los Angeles Streets the meteor of hope has crashed into Obama's tag team and the churches of the sky are rolling across clouds of Charlie Parker's smoke." - Scott Wannberg, Strange Movie Full of Death (Perceval Press)

"My Return" is sure to provoke intense public discussion and controversy. The author, Jack Henry Abbott, is now serving a fifteen-years-to-life sentence for the 1981 stabbing of Richard Adan, a young night manager of the Binibon Cafe on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Except for a short-lived escape from prison in 1971, Abbott had been incarcerated in one institution or another since he was thirteen years old. His parole placed him in another potentially violent environment, but one that had a completely different set of rules. He has consistently maintained that he thought Richard Adan was carrying a knife and that his attack on Adan was the result of that perception. "My Return" is Jack Abbott's and Naomi Zack's story of the death of Richard Adan, the ensuing trial, and Abbott's return to prison. It is comprised of "The Death of Tragedy", a play based on the actual court records; an illustrated appendix giving stage directions and the background of the issues and people involved; and "Men of Letters", a collection of Abbott's essays on a variety of topics - religious, philosophical, historical, and literary - including an autobiographical account of his tragic life.
