Ce fascicule contient une notice sur la carriere scientifique de Hansjakob Seiler et une bibliographie complete de ses publications, suivie d'un apercu critique de la reception en France de son uvre. La partie bio-bibliographique est suivie par la traduction francaise d'un entretien sur la linguistique universaliste et la typologie linguistique, et par deux textes de synthese. Dans le premier, H. Seiler dresse le bilan des travaux du groupe UNITYP, qu'il a dirige pendant 20 annees, et ouvre des perspectives de recherche dans le domaine de la linguistique des universaux; le second texte offre une reflexion sur la notion de continuum permettant d'expliquer l'agencement de positions et de strategies linguistiques en tant que reponses a des 'problemes' cognitifs. Biographical sketch, followed by a full bibliography of H. Seiler's writings, a study of his reception in France, a dialogue on universalist and typological linguistics, and two texts by H. Seiler on the goals, methodological principles, and perspectives of language universals research.

Le pelagianisme, doctrine declaree heretique par l'Eglise Catholique peu de temps apres sa fondation (vers la fin du IVe siecle), professe que l'homme, n'ayant aucune raison, par la force de sa raison et de son libre arbitre, d'endosser le peche originel d'Adam, peut bien se passer de la grace et nier le dogme de la predestination, a condition de cultiver la vertu, avec force et constance. Celui qui connait Jean-Jacques Rousseau, sa personnalite comme sa philosophie, ne sera guere etonne d'apprendre qu'il fut condamne pour pelagianisme par l'Eglise Catholique, qui reprochait au Discours sur l'origine et les fondements de l'inegalite parmi les hommes de 1755, de nier le peche originel. L'ouvrage de Jacques-Francois Thomas approfondit non seulement cette question relative a la religion de Rousseau - d'ailleurs fort difficile a cerner precisement -, mais explore par ce biais le champ plus vaste de l'influence que pouvait encore avoir, dans le XVIIIe siecle francais de la Raison et de la divinisation de la Nature, le pelagianisme ainsi que ses avatars comme le molinisme, doctrine initiee a la fin du XVIe sicele par le jesuite espagnol Luis de Molina, et generalement qualifiee de "semi-pelagianisme".

The church belongs to Jesus Christ and He serves as the dominant figure in the church, and instead of centering the church on the skillset of one main individual, Christ serves as a general contractor and we serve as subcontractors. One thing that contributes to the church failing to function as a high-octane church is that the leadership does not always focus on equipping the people to build up the church. Instead, pastors and ministry leaders are content with doing all the work, and everyone else serving as assistants. We have to invite everyone who sits in the pew to jump into the trenches with us. God needs all-hands-on-deck.The High-Octane Church presents a New Testament-focused model for church growth by equipping everyone from the pulpit to the pew. Pastor Jacques Francois uses the model in Acts 2 and masterfully illustrates that any church can thrive regardless of location. He provides seven principles that any church can execute to develop a vibrant church. When all seven P's are activated, the scripture gives the results of what happened: "And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved." (Acts 2:47b)
