Il processo di rilevamento avviene simultaneamente all'acquisizione di un fotogramma con il volto umano chiaramente visibile, per analizzare i dati di addestramento e, infine, per apporre l'etichetta di maschera o non maschera sullo schermo. Gli algoritmi utilizzati in questo rilevatore sono impiegati principalmente nei sistemi di rilevamento degli oggetti, nel riconoscimento e nell'autenticazione facciale e nel riconoscimento dei modelli. Programmable DSP devices are becoming gradually available and affordable. These devices have, therefore, become prevalent in the industry for the design of products.
