The silence has found a lover Of grief in the Pitches of deep arrogant Wolves Plentiful the numbers Are walking over Your eyes They blend into the traffic And a dream becomes A warm breath You take to get away
Vanishing layers Your skin a flare of distances and flowers Human pearls and cradled sky milk clouds Just a love note Woven by trinkets and sweet liquorish wine Canvas ink stains bleed from your hands their dirty work
Who needs long drawn out Iambic rhetoric to take the heart and soul to places of dark and light? Jodde's style is reminiscent of film industries film noir period using shades, shadows, using patches of light in the right places to allow us to view not only her journey but allowing the reader to escape into their own voyage. Like film noir you get black and white leaving the reader to discover their own colors. Jodde's pieces of magnificence pull no punches, they scream; make my words your words, my story our story and one heart to share if you open your eyes and feast at Jodde's deep table of deep feeling and emotion.
