"Entre l pidas y mausoleos", escrita por Jos D az, es un encuentro que ocurre ente los siete pecados capitales personificados por catrinas y la Bondad, en medio de l pidas y mausoleos en un cementerio. Cada uno de los siete pecados capitales defiende fervorosamente su condici n, adem s ejecutan a la Bondad cuya muerte ha sido determinada por Morta, una de las parcas. La lujuria, que no participa en el asesinato de Bondad, se aparta de las catrinas y manifiesta abiertamente que en vez de ser un pecado es un gozo. Los di logos, sin tapujos, son reveladores e irreverentes. El espectador encontrar , muy seguramente, una forma distinta de ver la realidad en que vivimos.
Ocho mujeres se encuentran fortuitamente y cada una de ellas narra su historia, sus vivencias, sus creencias y sus propuestas ante el asombro, la aprobaci n, el rechazo y/o la complicidad de las otras. Mujeres de diferentes conductas, profesiones, estratos sociales se muestran tal y cu l ante la vida y la sociedad que las rige. Esta pieza camina por esos espacios que al espectador despu s de transitar lo obligar n, necesariamente, a cuestionar sus propias convicciones.

From the perspective of institutional communication, the Second Vatican Council can be considered the most significant media event of the 20th century organized by an institution. This was due to its duration, impact on millions of people, and the media interest it aroused. For the Catholic Church, the management of the official information of this Assembly was an undertaking of considerable proportions, involving complex challenges. In this comprehensive study, the author examines the intricate path that the authorities followed to manage the considerable demand for news that the Second Vatican Council generated and to deal with the difficulties that emerged at each moment. It has been possible to consult numerous archives and documents and access information that had not yet been made public. Divided into two parts, in the initial section the book presents the arduous process involved in the organization of the Vatican II information services and their successive reforms throughout these years. This process was accompanied by a lengthy reflection on the role of the media in the Council, public opinion within the Church, and the intricate relationship between the silence imposed to guarantee the free discussion of the Council Fathers and the necessity to give information about the progress of Vatican II. The second part deals with the significant role played by the media in the Council and treats the main communicative problems that marked the course of Vatican II.

Derzeit gibt es nur sehr wenige Studien ber das Werk von Jos Mar a Arguedas' El Sexto. Die bisher durchgef hrten Studien haben sich auf andere Werke dieses Autors konzentriert, unter anderem auf Cornejo Polar, Lienhard und Vargas Llosa. Die bisherigen Lekt ren von El Sexto konzentrierten sich auf Probleme des sozialen Kontextes in Peru in den 1930er Jahren. Autoren wie Antonio Melis und William Rowe gehen sogar so weit zu behaupten, dass das gesamte Werk von Ardent einen tiefgreifenden politischen Sinn enth lt. Auf der Grundlage der obigen Ausf hrungen werde ich versuchen, eine andere Lesart als die oben genannten anzubieten. Dabei wird man feststellen k nnen, dass der Autor einen anderen Weg einschl gt als den der Bewahrung einer archaischen Kultur oder der R ckkehr zu einer Utopie. Ich m chte sagen, dass El Sexto versucht, das wiederzugeben, was Arguedas selbst einmal gesagt hat: "... die Teilung des Landes in zwei Universen, zwei v llig unterschiedliche Welten", und genau so ist das Gef ngnis von El Sexto symbolisch geteilt. Das Problem entsteht genau dann, wenn Arguedas es schafft, dass sich diese beiden Welten, die so heterogen, so unterschiedlich und unerreichbar sind, ber hren.

World War II was a turning point in US history, and its impact on Latinas and Latinos was life changing. Women served in the military, worked in civilian and war-related factories, and toiled in the fields. Nearly half-million men served in the armed forces from throughout the country, and thousands were recognized for their courage. Twelve received the highest commendation, the Congressional Medal of Honor. This book examines one, Jose M. Lopez, who was born into abject poverty in Mexico and immigrated at a young age to the Rio Grande Valley and became one of the most decorated soldiers in history. Singlehandedly, Lopez prevented hundreds of German soldiers German and a Tiger Tank from attacking his company. He became a national hero yet returned to the segregation and discrimination he had left. Lopez and his military brethren realized that if they were American enough to fight for their country, they were American enough to be treated equally in it. To achieve this equality, court decisions, civil rights legislation, and veteran’s organizations became part of postwar agenda. Latinos had paid their dues and expected respect in their country.

At present there are very few studies on the work of El Sexto by Jos Mar a Arguedas. The studies carried out have focused on other works by this author, which were done, among others, by Cornejo Polar, Lienhard and Vargas Llosa. The readings that have been made to date on El Sexto tend to focus on problems of the social context experienced in Peru in the 1930s. Authors such as Antonio Melis and William Rowe go so far as to affirm that all of Ardent's work contains a profound political sense. Based on the above, through this text I will try to offer you a different reading from those previously mentioned. Through it, you will be able to see that the author moves along a different path from trying to preserve an archaic culture, or to return to a utopia. I will say that El Sexto tries to give account of what Arguedas himself once said: "... the division of the country into two universes, two worlds, totally different" and that is precisely how El Sexto's prison is divided, symbolically. The problem arises, precisely, when Arguedas makes these two worlds, so heterogeneous, so different and unreachable, manage to touch each other.
