Time & Time Again The day before her 16th Birthday, Ann runs from the abuse she's suffering at a children's home and ends up sheltering in a bus shelter from the wind and snow. There Chris, whose wife Linda has died and now needs someone to look after two small children, finds her at the end of her tether. Did she run in a blind panic or is something else at work E why does she look and sound like a younger version of Linda? Why does she know her way around a strange town? Linda's younger sister died of leukaemia a few months before Ann was born. Could she be a reincarnation and could that be why she knows so much about Linda's family and friends? It doesn't take many episodes of regression for Ann to discover she IS all the people she's ever been and that she can access all their memories, but she's determined to repair a broken family. The story is about the past and karma, as well as the future.
K.M. Panikkar and The Growth of a Maritime Consciousness in India
Sardar KM Panikkar's life and works form a fascinating narrative encompassing a wide diversity of roles, positions and interests. Panikkar was one of the early writers on the history of India's connections with the Indian Ocean. His seminal historical and literary works have influenced contemporary thoughts and perceptions and played a formative role in orienting independent India's maritime consciousness. Excavations by K M Kenyon in Jerusalem, Volume 4

Itzak Eshel; K. Prag

Kathleen Kenyon died in 1978 without having published final reports on her excavations in Jerusalem. These are being now published in five volumes. This volume concentrates on finds outside the walls of the Iron Age city, and particularly on the enigmatic, pottery-rich depositis in Caves I and II to the south east of the city. Eshel's analysis of the pottery leads him to suggest a 7th-century BC date. Although fragmentary figurines and other `cult' objects were found, the general character of the pottery is utilitarian and Eshel suggests that the caves probably were either merchant or adminisatration store-rooms.

In The Shadow of the Devil: William K.M. Breckenridge in Fielding Hurst's First West Tennessee U.S. Cavalry
For more than 150 years, the story of the First West Tennessee Cavalry U.S.A. (renamed the Sixth Tennessee Cavalry) has been told from the perspectives of Col. Fielding Hurst, his critics, and his defenders. Now the story of this misunderstood irregular Union cavalry regiment is portrayed through the eyes and emotions of his second-in-command, Lt. Col. William K.M. Breckenridge. Long silenced by death and the mist of history, Breckenridge's journal retells the regiment's story. His contemporary voice and facts drawn from period documents provide a far clearer portrait than previously available.Through careful and detailed research, In The Shadow of the Devil debunks many legends and folklore regarding both Fielding Hurst and the First West Tennessee Cavalry. Further, the reputations of the soldiers themselves are somewhat restored as the specific war crimes of a few are detailed. A life too long hidden by death and the fog of history emerges with a strong and compelling voice. Now allowed to speak, that voice tells a story both convincing and historically significant.
