The book is an account of how the Shia-Sunni conflict was relocated from the Middle East to Pakistan after the rise of Revolutionary Iran in 1979, through the mediating agency of the rulers in Pakistan and the proliferation of the religious seminaries funded by Saudi Arabia. It examines the death of General Zia in the context of the sectarian conflict, goes into the process of production of apostatising fatwas in Pakistan followed by violent action by organizations formed from the non-state actors used by the state for its covert wars. Aufgrund der Sicherheit von Kernkraftwerken wurde die Bedeutung der Untersuchung von Problemen im Reaktork hlsystem (RCS), insbesondere der prim ren Wasser-Spannungs-Korrosionsrisse (PWSCC), sehr deutlich. Die D sen der bodenseitigen Instrumentierung (BMI) wurden w hrend der regelm igen berholungszeitr ume nicht berpr ft. Da es jedoch in einigen Kernkraftwerken zu Leckagen gekommen ist und k rzlich Betriebserfahrungen mit Nadellochleckagen an BMI-Anordnungen am unteren Kopf des Reaktordruckbeh lters (RPV) im South Texas Project (STP) (April 2003) gemacht wurden, besteht zunehmende Besorgnis. Nach diesem Vorfall wurde 2013 ein hnlicher Zustand in Palo Verde Unit 3 festgestellt. Daher wurde in diesem Buch ein systemtechnischer Ansatz f r die Entwicklung eines Fernpr fsystems f r BMI-D sen eingef hrt. Das vorgeschlagene BMI-D senpr fsystem, bei dem die Innenteile des Reaktordruckbeh lters (RPV) nicht entfernt werden m ssen, erm glicht die Erstellung von Trenddaten und erleichtert die fr hzeitige Erkennung von Schwei nahtfehlern, wodurch Leckagen an der BMI-D se und der Schwei naht verhindert werden k nnen. Es wurde eine spezielle Ultraschallsonde (UT) eingef hrt und ein System zur Aufnahme der UT-Sonde entwickelt. Au erdem wurde ein 3D-Modell des Inspektionssystems zusammen mit dem RV und den Innenteilen entwickelt.

Per motivi di sicurezza delle centrali nucleari, diventata evidente l'importanza di studiare i problemi relativi al sistema di raffreddamento del reattore (RCS), in particolare la corrosione sotto sforzo dell'acqua primaria (PWSCC). Gli ugelli della strumentazione montata sul fondo (BMI) non sono stati ispezionati durante i periodi di revisione ordinaria. Tuttavia, vi una crescente preoccupazione poich si sono verificate perdite in alcune centrali nucleari, nonch recenti esperienze operative con perdite da fori capillari nella parte inferiore della testa del BMI del contenitore a pressione del reattore (RPV) presso il South Texas Project (STP) (aprile 2003); a seguito di questo incidente, una condizione simile stata riscontrata nell'unit 3 di Palo Verde nel 2013. Pertanto, in questo libro stato introdotto un approccio di ingegneria dei sistemi nello sviluppo di un sistema di ispezione a distanza delle saldature dei nozzle BMI. Il sistema di ispezione dei nozzle BMI proposto, che non richiede la rimozione degli interni del contenitore a pressione del reattore (RPV), consentir di produrre dati di tendenza e faciliter il rilevamento precoce dei difetti di saldatura, prevenendo le perdite dal nozzle BMI e dalla saldatura.
