The present book is divided into seven chapters. First two chapters deal with vast introduction of study into consideration and theoretical & conceptual frame. Chapter III deals with vast reviews of past literature while in chapter IV detail discussion on research methodology has been discussed. Chapter V and VI, examine growth of productivity and production efficiency of WFBI of various States and Country as a whole, it also contains a Statistical Test of important hypotheses of study under consideration. At last in chapter VII, summary and conclusions has been discussed in detail. LMS & LNER Steam Locomotives is the result of over two decades of photographing steam locomotives in action in many parts of Britain covered by the former LMS and LNER Railway Companies, the two largest of the 'Big Four' Railway Companies which operated in Britain between 1923 and 1948. The majority of the photographs were taken during the British Railways era between 1948 and 1968. Although the author Malcolm Clegg has a sizeable collection of steam locomotive photographs taken during this period, the photographs which appear in this book are from the private collection of his lifelong friend and family relative, Mr Peter Cookson (a retired school-master), himself a railway historian, author and amateur photographer, who has kindly provided the photographs for publication in this book. Many of the photographs selected are rare and unusual for a variety of reasons which should appeal to railway historians and steam enthusiasts alike.

David Maidment has unravelled the complex history of the Johnson, Deeley and Fowler 4-4-0 locomotives of the Midland Railway and its LMS successor, covering their design, construction, operation and performance in this book with over 400 black and white photographs. It recounts their working on the Midland main lines from St Pancras to Derby, Manchester, Leeds and Carlisle, the latter via the celebrated Settle & Carlisle line, and the later work of the Fowler LMS engines on the West Coast main line. The book also describes the history of the Midland 4-4-0s built for the Somerset & Dorset and Midland & Great Northern Railways. The book covers the period from the first Midland 4-4-0 built in 1876 to the last LMS 2P withdrawn in 1962 and includes performance logs, weight diagrams and dimensions and statistical details of each locomotive.
First published in 1972, this reference work on L.M.S. Signals is still held in high regard by railway historians today.

This book describes a situation in which a child is stealing in school. As an elementary school counselor, I dealt with this issue numerous times. Using the method outlined within, we were successful in every situation without embarrassing the student. Included at the end of this book is information on why children steal and, more importantly, what action to take as a solution.
Children need to learn about personal space and assertiveness. The Bubble Brigade explains the concept of personal space in an easy way for them to understand.The skill of self-protection, "bully-proofing" if you will, is also explained. This is also at the appropriate developmental level.As a primary school counselor, I taught these social skills lessons and many more to our students starting kindergarten and reinforced them the following two years.Appreciating personal space and knowing how to protect yourself are obliviously lifelong skills crucial to personal growth and development. The Bubble Brigade teaches these concepts and skills.
The story told in this book is true. It describes a situation the author and a second grade teacher faced one school year. What transpired and the conclusion are accurately described in this story.Some children seem to make friends easily while others struggle. Children can be taught friendship making skills. They can also be taught conflict resolution.Although boys certainly have issues of their own, making friends and keeping them are less of a problem for them than girls. Four Friends deals with four girls, all good friends, that have to work through a problem to remember why they are friends in the first place.
The idea of this book came to me while reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. As a former primary school counselor, I know how young children enjoy rhyming books. When I read one to them I would often tell them to listen for the pattern and they could often guess the rhyming word, essentially helping me read the story. The Letters Picnic is meant to be a fun read and educational for children learning the alphabet. Hopefully, you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
It's been said that the only thing more difficult for a child to undergo than divorce is the death of a parent. Obviously, it's extremely hard on the parents also.Research shows several potential adverse effects for these children. For example, poor academic performance and possible social, emotional, or behavioral issues.The good news is certainly these issues don't apply to all children and, if the divorce/separation is handled as well as possible by the parents there may very well be no negative results.The overriding thought of parents should be "child first" when making any decisions. Thinking of how this will affect your child before making major choices will help immensely.There is a great deal of information available with good advice on how to handle a very difficult situation. This book describes a program offered by the school district in which I was the school counselor. At the end of this book there is advice for parents going through this situation. Our Banana Splits group over the years helped countless parents and their children get through a difficult time.Remember, the best parent is both parents.
The problem solving technique described in this book is the system the author taught his kindergarten students. It was then reinforced in first and second grade until the students left the building to go to third grade.The system can be taught to preschoolers by their parents or, obviously, in school by a counselor or teacher. Once taught to the child they may need reminders to use it but once ingrained it can be very effective.Children often need help with big problems, but can be taught how to solve small ones. Along with the system my students were also taught various plans to follow for specific issues. For example, how to listen, how to handle a feeling problem, or how to protect themselves. Some of those plans are outlined in several of my other books.Hopefully you will enjoy the book and I hope your children or students use the system-it works
