Das glukoseabh ngige insulinotrope Peptid (GIP) ist ein Inkretin, das im Darm von den K-Zellen ausgesch ttet wird und vor allem auf einen durch die Aufnahme von Fett und Kohlenhydraten vermittelten Ern hrungsreiz hin freigesetzt wird. Dieses Inkretin ist an der Entstehung von Krankheiten wie Diabetes und Fettleibigkeit beteiligt, die weltweit zu den h ufigsten Todesursachen z hlen. Ziel dieser Studie war es, Studien zu berpr fen, die ber die Modulation der Inkretin-Genexpression und ihre Funktion sowohl bei normalen als auch bei pathologischen Zust nden wie IIDM und Fettleibigkeit berichten. Die Studien sind in den Datenbanken PUBMED, SCIENCEDIRECT und MEDLINE verf gbar. Es wurden einundf nfzig Artikel ausgew hlt, die aussagekr ftige Beweise zu diesem Thema liefern. Die Belege zeigen, dass GIP im Normalzustand die Hauptfunktion hat, die Insulinsekretion und die Umverteilung des Fettgewebes zu f rdern. Bei Typ-2-Diabetes wurde jedoch festgestellt, dass seine Funktion angesichts der geringen Aktivit t seines Rezeptors auf den Betazellen gleich Null ist. Bei Fettleibigkeit wurde beobachtet, dass es durch die Aktivierung von Zytokinen zu einem proinflammatorischen Zustand beitragen kann.

Glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (GIP) is an incretin secreted in the intestine by K cells and is released mainly by a nutritional stimulus mediated by fat and carbohydrate intake. This incretin is implicated in the development of pathologies such as diabetes and obesity, which are among the leading causes of death worldwide. The aim of this study was to review studies reporting the modulation of incretin gene expression and its function in both normal and pathological conditions such as IIDM and obesity. The studies are available in the PUBMED, SCIENCEDIRECT, MEDLINE databases. Fifty-one articles demonstrating strong evidence on the topic were selected. The evidence reports that GIP in normal states has the main function of promoting insulin secretion and redistribution of adipose tissue. In type 2 diabetes, however, its function was found to be null given the low activity of its receptor on beta cells. In obesity, it was observed that it can contribute to the pro-inflammatory state through the activation of cytokines.

Questa incretina implicata nello sviluppo di patologie come il diabete e l'obesit , che sono tra le principali cause di morte a livello mondiale. Lo scopo di questo studio stato quello di rivedere gli studi che riportano la modulazione dell'espressione genica dell'incretina e la sua funzione in condizioni normali e patologiche come l'IIDM e l'obesit . Gli studi sono disponibili nei database PUBMED, SCIENCEDIRECT e MEDLINE. Sono stati selezionati 51 articoli che dimostrano una forte evidenza sull'argomento. Le evidenze riportano che la GIP in condizioni normali ha la funzione principale di promuovere la secrezione di insulina e la ridistribuzione del tessuto adiposo. Nel diabete di tipo 2, invece, la sua funzione risultata nulla, data la scarsa attivit del suo recettore sulle cellule beta. Nell'obesit stato osservato che pu contribuire allo stato pro-infiammatorio attraverso l'attivazione di citochine.

O objetivo deste estudo foi rever os estudos que relatam a modula o da express o do gene da incretina e a sua fun o em condi es normais e patol gicas, como a DMID e a obesidade. Os estudos est o dispon veis nas bases de dados PUBMED, SCIENCEDIRECT e MEDLINE. Foram seleccionados 51 artigos que demonstram uma forte evid ncia sobre o tema. A evid ncia relata que o GIP em estados normais tem a fun o principal de promover a secre o de insulina e a redistribui o do tecido adiposo. Na diabetes tipo 2, no entanto, a sua fun o foi considerada nula, dada a baixa atividade do seu recetor nas c lulas beta. Na obesidade, observou-se que pode contribuir para o estado pr -inflamat rio atrav s da ativa o de citocinas.
