Engaging Practices for Integrating Restorative Justice Principles in Group Settings As restorative practices spread around the world, scholars and practitioners have begun to ask very important questions: How should restorative practices be taught? What educational structures and methods are in alignment with restorative values and principles? This book introduces games as an effective and dynamic tool to teach restorative justice practices. Grounded in an understanding of restorative pedagogy and experiential learning strategies, the games included in this book provide a way for learners to experience and more deeply understand restorative practices while building relationships and improving skills. Chapters cover topics such as: Introduction to restorative pedagogy and experiential learning How a restorative learning community can be built and strengthened through the use of games and activities How to design games and activities for teaching restorative practices How to design, deliver, and debrief an activity-based learning experience In-depth instructions for games and activities for building relationships, understanding the restorative philosophy, and developing skills in practice An ideal handbook for educators, restorative justice program directors and trainers, consultants, community group leaders, and anyone else whose work draws people together to resolve disagreements or address harm, this book will serve as a catalyst for greater creativity and philosophical alignment in the teaching of restorative practices across contexts.

Today is my first day at the Harwood School. Am I nervous? A little. Am I excited? Most definitely. Today is the start of a new chapter in my life, school wise, and I am excited. After all, it beats what I have been through before.
Home-coming is next week, and I am hoping that a special and certain someone will ask me to go with them. That person is none other than my best friend and band-mate, Henry. As we have spent time hanging out with our best friends and making music, he and I have gotten closer. In fact, I have developed feelings for him. You may think that this scares me a little. No, it doesn't. In fact, it makes me happy
Exactly sixteen years ago today, I came into this world. That's right. I was born sixteen years ago today at 7:45 am. As I think about all that God had blessed me with, I am truly humbled. Not only do I have wonder-ul parents, extended family, and true, genuine, and authentic friends and best friends, I am also pursuing my career as a singer with my best friends and band mates. In all honesty, life is truly good.

The time has come for Hadley and her dance team to compete at Regionals. Besides being extremely excited about this, Hadley is also a little nervous. Not only will she be dancing a group dance with her team mates, but she will also be performing a solo for the very first time.In this book of courage and team work, follow one girl and her dance team as they compete for the title of 2019 Denver Metro Region Champions.
Tonight was Harwood's Junior/ Senior Prom. Not only would I be dancing the night away with my best friends, boyfriend, and the seniors, but I also be dancing the night away with the people that I loved more than anything. This made me almost as happy as when Hadley's and my dance team took home first place in the solo and group depart-ment at regionals back in March.

A few weeks ago, Hadley's cousin and Bart's daughter, Samantha, had met my best friends and I for coffee. During the outing, Samantha had told us that she and her choir were going to sing one of our songs for their school's last day of school talent show. After she had told us this, Saman-tha had asked us if we could surprise her choir and school by making an appearance and singing the song with them. Immediately, my best friends and I had agreed to do it. After we had agreed to do this, Samantha had let her choir teacher and principal know. Thankfully, they were more than okay with this.As the limo pulled into CHS, Samantha's high school, I could not help but feel excited. This was going to be a surprise that Saman-tha's choir and classmates would never forget.

My team mates and I are here at Walt Disney World com-peting in the 2020 National Dance Competition. While the fifty solos will be judged today, the fifty group dances will be judged tomorrow. With this said, I will be competing on both days. Being honest with myself, I really want to win both days. After all, I am a senior this year, and winning both days would be an awesome way to end my dance career as a high school student.
Even though I only attended Harwood for three years, it was truly the best three years of my life. Not only did I have amazing teachers, make a group of genuine best friends(I even formed a band with them), fall in love with an amazing individual (and have my feelings and love returned by them), and many other wonderful things, but I also was given an amazing high school experience As Chloe and I make our way into Harwood and get ready to partici-pate in the graduation dress rehearsal, I cannot help but feel happy, excited, and thankful.
Tonight is my birthday party at the Grand Hyatt Denver. It is being thrown by my best friends, boyfriend, and my record company. Not only will my parents, boyfriend, best friends, and my other friends be there, but some other people that are signed on with XalerelaX Records will be there, too. After the party, Chloe will be coming back to my mansion with me for a sleepover. I am truly excited about tonight
