Are you struggling in your spiritual walk? Are you a babe in the Word of God, or are you mature and feasting on meat? Many people mistakenly equate number of birthdays with maturity. Though this may have some weight legally, it has nothing to do with spiritual maturity. Far too often, people who have followed the Lord for a number of years still wander from church to church, looking for a quick fix to the problems in their lives. That means serving the meat as well as the vegetables and gently guiding their followers to healthy spiritual food that nourishes the soul. Eating with the King will give you insight into important principles concerning the feeding of God's children: -Not every word spoken from the pulpit is for everyone. It all depends on their season, timing, and maturity level. -The Word of God is not junk food. -There must be reverential respect for dining at the table with the King. -Servants should respect worthy leaders. -A balanced diet between earthly and spiritual things grows strong Christians.
