Med bogen Klinisk praksis i ergoterapi og fysioterapi er det lykkedes at udgive en fælles grundbog til terapeutområdet for ergoterapeuter og fysioterapeuter. Ergoterapeut- og fysioterapeut-professionerne har været igennem en udvikling mod en stærkere evidensbasering af fagområderne i de seneste år. Denne bog er den første af sin slags, der primært omhandler klinisk uddannelse, hvilket fylder 42 ECTS ud af professionsbachelor-uddannelsernes samlede 210 ECTS. Bogen retter blikket mod professionspraksis og den kliniske undervisning, og dermed også mod det praksisfelt de studerende efterfølgende skal arbejde i. Målgruppen for bogen er ergoterapeutstuderende og fysioterapeutstuderende. Baggrunden for en fælles bog for de to professioner er, at de udfordringer, som studerende møder i den kliniske undervisning, har så meget til fælles, at det berettiger til en fælles grundbog. Der er naturligvis stadig mange forskelligheder de to professioner imellem, og derfor er der også i mange af kapitlerne afsnit rettet mod henholdsvis ergoterapeuter og fysioterapeuter, ligesom de fleste kapitler også er skrevet i fællesskab af en ergoterapeut og en fysioterapeut. Bogen kan anvendes som en forberedelse før det kliniske forløb; som en opslagsbog og under den kliniske uddannelse og endelig give stof til refleksion efter forløbet. Som klinisk underviser kan bogen benyttes som inspiration til undervisning og tematisering i uddannelsen. Kapitlerne afsluttes med refleksionsspørgsmål til brug for videre arbejde med kobling mellem praksis og teori i uddannelses- og praksissammenhænge.

Composer, pianist, editor, writer, and pedagogue Mario Lavista (1943-2021) was a central figure of the cultural and artistic scene in Mexico and one of the leading Ibero-American composers of his generation. His music is often described as evocative and poetic, noted for his meticulous attention to timbre and motivic permutation, and his creative trajectory was characterized by its intersections with the other arts, particularly poetry and painting. Lavista was a relational composer; he did not write music as a private enterprise but for and alongside people with whom he established close relations. Understanding analysis as an affective practice, author Ana R. Alonso-Minutti explores the intertextual connections between the multiple texts--musical or otherwise--that are present in Lavista's music. Alonso-Minutti argues that, through adopting an interdisciplinary and transhistorical approach to music composition, Lavista forged a cosmopolitan imaginary that challenged stereotypes of what Mexican music should sound like. This imaginary becomes a strategy of resistance against imperialist agendas placed upon postcolonial peripheries. Departing from traditional biographical and chronological frameworks that exalt masters and masterworks, the author offers a nuanced, personal narrative informed by conversations with composers, performers, artists, choreographers, poets, writers, and filmmakers. The Peruvian Mario Vargas Llosa has been acclaimed throughout the literary world as one of Latin America's finest writers, yet until recently little has been written about his work in English. While his work has the subject of an increasing flow of critical commentary in Spanish and his major novels have been translated into English, this is the first full-scale critical treatment of Vargas Llosa published in the English language. These articles by a number of established writers and critics appraise Vargas Llosa's individual novels as well as the body of his work. The Time of the Hero, The Green House, Conversation in The Cathedral, and Pantaleón y las visitadoras are examined in order of publication, A second group of more general essays ranges across Vargas Llosa's work and explores pervasive themes and concerns. Two pieces by José Miguel Oviedo serve as a coda. In a bilingual interview, Oviedo and Vargas Llosa discuss Vargas Llosa's novel La tía Julia y el escribidor. Oviedo concludes with a critical discussion of that novel. A Vargas Llosa chronology compiled by the editors is also included. Most of these essays originally appeared in 1977 as a special issue of Texas Studies in Literature and Language. The concluding essay by Oviedo was prepared especially for this edition.
