Therapy has long been recognised as one of the main functions of literature. Many African writers, including Niyi Osundare enrich their poetry with ideas and matters that could serve therapeutic purposes. Existing studies on the poetry of Osundare have privileged socio-political, economic and cultural issues to the exclusion of the therapeutic relevance. This study examines the symbiotic interactions of grief and creativity in Osundare' City without People, with a view to unveiling how poetry mitigates and benefits from grief through Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalytic Theory and interpretive design. The process of writing poetry is depicted as providing therapeutic authentication for the poetic persona. Writing serves as audibility, visibility and awareness creation craft, as well as an expressive and a reflective practice for self-understanding during grief. It is also a purgative exercise for cathartic feelings and an instrument of validating and appreciating loss for health-related enfranchisement.

Cent huit poulettes de 19 semaines de souche Oba Black au point de ponte ont t r parties en douze traitements alimentaires dans un arrangement factoriel 2 x 3 x 2, compos de farine de racines de manioc transform e (pel e et non pel e), de trois niveaux d'inclusion de manioc (0, 10 et 20 %) et de deux niveaux de suppl mentation enzymatique (0 et 200 g/tonne) pendant une p riode de cinq mois. Des donn es ont t collect es sur les performances, les qualit s internes et externes de l'oeuf, les indices biochimiques h matologiques et s riques, le statut du cholest rol dans le sang, l'oeuf, les reins et le foie, et la digestibilit des nutriments des poules pondeuses. Centotto pollastre del ceppo Oba Black di 19 settimane sono state assegnate a dodici trattamenti dietetici in una disposizione fattoriale 2 x 3 x 2, composta da farina di radice di manioca trasformata (pelata e non pelata), tre livelli di inclusione di manioca (0, 10 e 20%) e due livelli di integrazione enzimatica (0 e 200 g/tonnellata) per un periodo di cinque mesi. Sono stati raccolti dati sulla performance, sulle qualit interne ed esterne delle uova, sugli indici ematologici e biochimici sierici, sullo stato del colesterolo nel sangue, nelle uova, nei reni e nel fegato e sulla digeribilit dei nutrienti delle galline ovaiole. I dati ottenuti sono stati analizzati con il pacchetto informatico analitico Minitab, mentre le medie sono state separate con il test della gamma multipla di Duncan. L'assunzione di mangime variava da 102 a 114 g/d per i volatili alimentati rispettivamente con il 20% di farina di radice di manioca non sbucciata con integrazione enzimatica e con la dieta di controllo senza integrazione enzimatica.
