One rainy afternoon Melanie finds an old pendant in one of the trunks in the attic with the letters "xpo" engraved on the back. She thinks it may be a pendant from an old fair of some sort. She puts it around her neck and feels a tingle of power. Her life is changed forever from that moment on. She finds diaries that talk to her and unlocks a family secret that has been buried for a hundred and fifty years. But that is only the beginning of her adventure that will take her around the world and through the mists of time helping others who have lost their way. In the end she finds out that some one has been keeping a secret from her and her long lost twin sister. Every time that she thinks that everything is going the way that it should be another stumbling block comes along. Will things ever get back on the right track?
