When Jack, the naughtiest boy in Dame Dimwit's school, puts his thumb in a pie and pulls out the prize jewel in the royal treasure, everyone assumes he has stolen it. Only Jack knows that the real thief is the wicked Lord Chamberlain, Graball, who is planning to steal the rest of the treasure with the help of Vasaleno's gypsies. In true pantomime tradition, Jack manages to prove his innocence, the badies are out witted and all ends happily. Lydia and her boyfriend Marcus rehearse the murder of Theo, Lydia's husband, which they are to commit that evening. When the victim and "perfect witness" arrive all goes according to plan except that Marcus kills Lydia. A ghastly mistake - or are there some deviations from the original plot? A taut thriller which begins when Trevor Wyatt lets a girl in to his house who says she has been the victim of an attack by a lorry driver. But that's nothing compared to what follows - petty larceny, manslaughter, bogus policemen and a devilishly elaborate form of blackmail.
This fast-moving, fun-filled pantomime opens with the Bad Luck Fairy, Jinxit, about to hire Humpty Dumpty as her evil assistant. The Good Fairy arrives to save him, sealing him in a giant egg to keep him from harm. Jinxit transports the egg to the land of the mortals where it ends up in Eggton-on-Sea, to become a treasured landmark on the sea front. We are transported many years hence to a typical British seaside and there is plenty of opportunity for fun and games, mistaken identities and slapstick humour as Patsy Putumup (B & B landlady) falls for Captain Vince Valiant but has to contend with Princess Penelope vying for his affection. Privates Spit and Polish are the broker's men and lovable Horace, the Horse, provides even more amusement. With lots of opportunities for songs (choice is left to the director) this should prove very popular with audiences.
The popular fairy tale of "Cinderella" has been brought to new, magical life. Whilst poor Cinderella is being forced to carry out the every wish of her cruel stepmother and ugly stepsisters, Mattie and Hattie, Prince Charming has left to travel the world and Pantomania is now governed by the selfish Duke of Verruca. However, upon learning of his father's death, the Prince returns to take on his duty as king, but there is one problem - the Duke is not willing to give up his power. The Duke bullies his henchmen, Nip and Tuck, into bopping the Prince over the head and he subsequently loses his memory. The duke then manipulates his naive nephew, Archie, into posing as the Prince, and causes havoc for anyone who may get in his way. Luckily, faithful Buttons and his friend Kathy are trying everything they can to sort out the confusion, while Cinderella's Fairy Godmother is working wonders to bring Cinderella together with her true love. This is a laugh-a-minute panto for the young and the young at heart.
Little Bo-Peep looks after Fanny Fairacre's flock of sheep on Fairacre Farm. The malevolent Lady Sneering is jealous of her relationship with Fanny's son Freddie, so she instructs evil magician Mefisto - from Cindy Sparkle's travelling show - to make the pretty shepherdess disappear. Meanwhile Fanny's gormless farmhand Wally has fallen for glamorous Cindy. Soon they all find themselves banished to the nightmarish "Place of the Disappeared", with no apparent hope of return. Paul Reakes' riotous retelling of the well-known nursery rhyme features all the traditional pantomime elements as well as a travelling show, magic, dancers, and a highly talented cow.

It's the day of the grand fete in Merrydale, and Willard "Wiggles" Wigglesworth has brought his hot air balloon along to give rides to the townsfolk. Johnnie Blue has fallen in love with Susie Sidebottom, the Mayor's daughter, but when the pair offend the evil witch Halloweena she is determined to exact revenge. Soon Johnnie and Susie, together with Wiggles and Bessie, Johnnie's larger-than-life mother, find themselves a very long way from home. A hungry giant is advancing upon the Royal Kingdom, and his evil henchman Slither Slugslime has forced the citizens to give up all their food to satisfy his appetite. Only Tom Thumb, the King's head gardener, will stand up to him, but as punishment Slugslime casts a spell that shrinks him - to the size of a thumb! Mum Thumb, her son Tim, Princess Primrose and her maid Lucy Lastic enlist the help of the beautiful witch Spellena to restore Tom to his normal size. In the meantime Slugslime has taken a liking to Primrose and Mum must somehow rustle up a cake for the giant with two extremely dimwitted sous-chefs.
Dame Ditty runs a successful school of singing (star pupil: Melody) much to the chagrin of the rival music teacher, Dr Discord (star pupils: none). When the Duke of Sterling arrives in town the rivalry between the two schools is brought into the open and a singing contest to be held at the local fair is suggested, but Dr Discord rigs the rules so only a male singer is eligible. Dame Ditty has no male singers - but then Tommy Tucker arrives and is asked to sing for her. Dirty work is afoot: Discord arranges with Mother Cursem to put a spell on Tommy, stealing his voice. But Melody and the Duke's daughter Sophie enlist the help of Professor Wizo to put matters right!

The women of the town and royal cook Dotty Dumplin are queueing up to audition for the role of Queen, but the King already has his heart set on Debbie Dumplin, Dotty's daughter, as his choice of bride. Unfortunately Debbie has fallen in love with Florian, who also happens to be the King's aide. King Cole's evil brother Peski and his wife Pariah are meanwhile conspiring to unseat him from the throne, with a little help from a magic pool that reverses the ageing process, turning Old King Cole into Young King Cole! Outrageous characters, flamboyant costumes, jokes, songs and an exploding birthday cake all feature in Paul Reakes's highly entertaining retelling of the well-known nursery rhyme.
