Focusing on countermeasures against orchestrated cyber-attacks, Cyber Security Culture is research-based and reinforced with insights from experts who do not normally release information into the public arena. It will enable managers of organizations across different industrial sectors and government agencies to better understand how organizational learning and training can be utilized to develop a culture that ultimately protects an organization from attacks. Peter Trim and David Upton believe that the speed and complexity of cyber-attacks demand a different approach to security management, including scenario-based planning and training, to supplement security policies and technical protection systems. The authors provide in-depth understanding of how organizational learning can produce cultural change addressing the behaviour of individuals, as well as machines. They provide information to help managers form policy to prevent cyber intrusions, to put robust security systems and procedures in place and to arrange appropriate training interventions such as table top exercises. Guidance embracing current and future threats and addressing issues such as social engineering is included. Although the work is embedded in a theoretical framework, non-technical staff will find the book of practical use because it renders highly technical subjects accessible and links firmly with areas beyond ICT, such as human resource management - in relation to bridging the education/training divide and allowing organizational learning to be embraced. This book will interest Government officials, policy advisors, law enforcement officers and senior managers within companies, as well as academics and students in a range of disciplines including management and computer science.

Following the tragic death of his young son and armed only with a basic belief in life after death the author set off on a six year search for his son. The journey was to take him deep into the spiritual world of mediumship (channeling) and meditation and as he trained in these, other doors opened, with those higher spiritual beings we call angels intervening in his life and guiding him on his journey to understanding. The author tells the story of this inner journey as he travels through the holy places of India seeking a rishi to take him to a higher level during meditation so that he can once again feel his son's presence and know that he is happy. As he travels, the loving people he meets, with their innocence and joyful laughter, warm his heart while his little son sits, just out of sight, saying, "I am here with you dad " Ultimately he finds what he is searching for in a most unexpected place and from a completely unexpected source. As you follow the author on his journey he gives clear, logical explanations for much of what we would call the occult or the mystic; from ghosts and poltergeists to levitation and psychometry and as he delves into the blurred boundary where science and religion come together he even explains his theory on eternal life. Candles on The Ganges is about the illusion that we call life and the reality that lies beyond it. It is a book of spiritual growth and understanding wrapped up in an enthralling journey through India. While the subject matter is obviously a sad one the book manages to be both uplifting and thought provoking and could even be life changing.

This book features five peer-reviewed reviews on best practices for improving the sustainability of dairy production. The first chapter reviews the main, internationally accepted methods available to evaluate the environmental impact of dairy farming, identify levers of action and set environmental targets. The second chapter considers how dairy farms can manage both energy consumption and water in order to minimise their environmental impacts. The chapter also addresses the issue of sustainable water use.The third chapter provides a compilation of current research which highlights the need to further examine dietary mitigation strategies in ruminant production systems at a whole farm level. The chapter also discusses the range of nutritional strategies available for enteric- and manure-CH4 abatement. The fourth chapter focusses on the role of the ruminant microbiome in methane emissions and the potential genetic factors affecting microbial composition and emission reduction. The final chapter highlights the growing issue of food loss and waste (FLW) in countries with developed dairy value chains. The chapter discusses the key stages and management practices for reducing FLW in dairy value chains, as well as how decision-making can be improved.
Duncan is a soppy dog - sometimes. He lives with Mr Hipstone, who may once have been a pirate, and is even now rather grumpy - sometimes. However, neither Duncan nor Mr Hipstone turn out to be quite what each other (and the reader!) expects when they set sail across the seas to a secret island, in search of treasure. There they encounter a band of ferocious pirates - will Duncan be sacrificed for the hidden loot? Could an old bone be the only treasure worth claiming? Only one thing is for certain: nothing is as it seems in this wryly funny, understated yet action-packed story, written and illustrated by the incomparable Peter Utton.
