Phyllis Fisher is one of the earlier settlers to the Comboyne Plateau, part of the Port Macquarie hinterland in New South Wales, Australia. She is a well known and much-loved character of the Plateau and after retiring from a life of dairy farming, continued her dedication in creating a paradisical two-acre garden, complete with handmade waterfall, stonework and tennis court, home to her beloved peacocks and guinea fowl. Her garden became well-known as a tourist destination and was visited by people worldwide. She narrates an era of lifestyle, based on hardship and survival and yet her vivid and humorous descriptions are not made in terms of hardship. I am grateful to be able to share her legacy for her descendants.

A selection of poetry to warn the non-believer causing them to ask for guidance and salvation through Jesus, the only name by which you must be saved as well as verse to edify and challenge the hearts of those who have made that decision to serve the King of All Nations. I'm one of those people who just can't help myself Even if I have no pen or tablet to write that poem, or draw that picture, my mind continually sets the scene of words or images to be stored away until I can get it onto paper. That's why I usually have writing tools with me wherever I go, even on my bedside table for when my dreams waken me and need to be remembered for another day. Many of my poems are taken from the words in the scriptures as I study or listen to the teaching of the local church Pastor. Most of my life story is rung out into my inspirational poetry giving my praise and attention to the Lord of All the Nations, Jesus Christ. To sing of God's great love for humankind and give warnings to those who may not yet know that grace and love in their lives, many of my poems declare that truth.

Twiglet: The Little Christmas Tree is a story of discoveries, miracles, and friendships in the lives of Reuben and Rachel Oliver and their Gramma O. Set in the town of Snowflake, with horses, adventures, and a Christmas Tree farm, Twiglet: the Little Christmas Tree is full of human kindness and the results of helping those in need. Along with Gran'pa Shepherd and Bright Starr, the twins end up finding seven special trees.Twiglet: The Little Christmas Tree is the product of sevens: seven authors, seven chapters, seven hours to draw up the first draft of the first chapter, seven typed pages. There are seven human characters in the first chapter and multiples of seven "art sparks" on each page throughout the story, there are seven letters in Twiglet, and the main author and illustrator, Phyllis Mae Richardson-Fisher, is the seventh of eight children. We added a forward in the shape of a tree, a table of contents using Roman numerals, a glossary of terms marked with a "snowflake" asterisk to help young readers know the meaning of some of the special words. A cast of human and animal characters (as they appear in the story) complete the reading aids.Twiglet: The Little Christmas Tree is not just a Christmas story; it takes us through seven years as Rueben and Rachel learn the benefits of helping others, the importance of doing good in school, and that miracles are a part of our everyday life.

For decades the Coffin family had been lucky. They lived in nice homes in many countries with good jobs and three wonderful children. The kids attended private schools, completed college, married and found successful jobs. This all occurred under the auspices of their loving mother Phyllis, who was a mainstay and the familys moral compass. The idyllic life came crashing down just before author Raleigh Coffin and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, as Phyllis was diagnosed with dementia of the Alzheimers type. In Phyllis, Raleigh tells the story of their personal experience with the scourge of Alzheimers from the perspective of a husband and a principal caregiver who had to confront the disease head on. He shares how the rigors of the disease took a life-changing toll on their family, their time and an incredible dispiriting impact on both their emotional and financial resources. Raleigh provides tips on care, selection of nursing homes and approaches to the disease. He hopes this book will help others face the ordeal and avoid the snares and pitfalls he fell into during more than six intensive years of his wifes struggle with losing her memory, identity and eventually her existence.
