A troubled past and an inquisitive mind brought together the thoughts that formed the poems in Life. This book will blend well with a cup of hot coffee on a cold winter evening. You are invited to relax and read this collection of true stories written in a magical way. Life has its ups and downs, and the poet has put his heart and soul into every word penned. Through joy and pain, he has lived, loved, and shared his life with all. The poems will at times uplift your soul and at times awaken the darkness in you. But, through it all, you will feel what he felt as he sat in a corner with a piece of paper and a pen in hand.

To improve the quality of existence, many machines and tools played a main role in early civilizations. Invention of gear cannot be attributed to any one individual as the development of the toothed gearing system evolved gradually from the primitive form, when a wooden pin was arranged on the periphery of simple, solid, wooden wheels to drive the opposite member of the pair.Though many inventions have made a great impact, very few are standing with the same honor out of the rest. Gears are one of such inventions, which is in use still today. The history of gear is possibly as old as early civilization itself and yet today, gears play a major role in manufacturing industry. This book aimed to provide exposure for beginners who are interested in doing research on gears.

Deforestation in the uplands of Eastern Bangladesh, has reached an alarming rate in recent years due to the various pressures of a growing population, land clearances for agriculture, illegal felling, development interventions, gaps in policy and legislation, and conflicting institutional mandates. The forest coverage of Bangladesh is one of the lowest and the deforestation rate is the highest of any country in the world. Coupled with the process of deforestation, flawed afforestration programmes have seriously exposed Bangladesh to environmental vulnerability. Shifting cultivation, which is still prevalent in the area, contributes significantly to forest loss and is the main cause of land degradation. Agroforestry is a promising alternative that can sustainably manage the remaining forest resources. It has good economic returns, and the income also maintains farmers basic needs, whereas the agroforestry tree crops are a valuable source of fuelwood thus reduce rural poverty significantly.

RAHMAN BABA: SELECTED POEMS Translation & Introduction by Paul Smith Rahman Baba (1652 to 1711) is considered the greatest Sufi Pashtun poet to compose poems, mainly ghazals, in the Pashtu language.
