"Walrus, Will You Hang With Me?", is one of those "must-have" picture books. The loveable characters: Sloth and Walrus, improve their friendship through perseverance, imagination, perspective, and patience. The author/illustrator uses a gradual visual transformation from day to night to day as the story unfolds. Thoughts are portrayed with imaginative illustrations as Walrus tries desperately to be with Sloth. This lovely story is about friendship and a healthy example of improving any relationship. The story ends with a fun song. The book character "Walrus" also appears in the early reader book "I Lost My Tooth".
