Anlass zu dieser Publikation gab die Diskussion um eine Regelung des Verh ltnisses zwischen Staat und Religionsgemeinschaften in der Schweizerischen Bundesverfassung. Der Schweizerische Evangelische Kirchenbund (SEK) setzt sich seit einiger Zeit daf r ein, dass das bestehende kantonale Religionsverfassungsrecht durch eine entsprechende bundesrechtliche Verh ltnisbestimmung erg nzt wird. Der Rat des SEK beauftragte die Autoren, die Stossrichtung und den Inhalt einer solchen Regelung zu entwerfen. Der hier publizierte Bericht enth lt berlegungen zur Revisions- und Erg nzungsbed rftigkeit der geltenden Bundesverfassung aus soziologischer und rechtlicher Sicht, sowie zu einer zeitgem ssen (Neu-)Bestimmung des Verh ltnisses zwischen Bundesstaat und Religionsgemeinschaften. In einem abschliessenden Kapitel stellen die Autoren einen gemeinsam verantworteten Entwurf f r eine Teilrevision der Bundesverfassung, teilweise mit Varianten, zur Diskussion. Le Conseil de la FEPS a charg les auteurs du rapport pr sent ici d'esquisser les lignes directrices et le contenu de la norme en question. L' tude se livre des r flexions du point de vue sociologique et juridique sur la n cessit de r viser et de compl ter la Constitution f d rale en vigueur. Elle examine aussi une (re)d finition adapt e notre temps des relations entre l'Etat f d ral et les communaut s religieuses. Dans les conclusions, les auteurs soumettent discussion un projet de r vision partielle de la Constitution f d rale avec diff rentes variantes, dont ils r pondent conjointement.
