Following on the trilogy's Books I & II (Condor's Eye and Kismet), our protagonists' life sagas continue in Maya. Lifetime adventures range from the Stone-age to the Romans in occupied Palestine, from Tibet to Peru and Europe, and even into the future. They show how karmic connections between these incarnations are threaded like cords binding past events into aspects of subsequent lives as balancing and learning experiences. But their relentless questions about the mechanism of life remained unanswered through eras of ignorance and religious dominance prescribing those thoughts people were permitted. In Part II, after lifetimes spanning thousands of years, Maya finally reaches the present. Condor's Eye and Laughing Wind have endured so much, lived many different experiences, and still do not have the answers to their questions. In contemporary times, humankind is undergoing a metamorphosis of their understanding. People are permitted to think, debate, share knowledge openly and reconsider their oldest beliefs. As the protagonists discover, it's a powerful time to be alive with many new insights and understandings finally providing various answers to their centuries of ignorance. Complementing each chapter is additional background material prepared by the author in his website www.feyslamentation.com.

Ronnie Wood is one of rock’s true originals. This is his story, in his own words, about his life, loves, family, friends, music, art and survival against the odds. It’s a roller-coaster ride of unbelievable highs and unimaginable lows, From a small boy growing up on a working class council estate not far from Heathrow Airport who wanted to play music and paint - the first generation of his "water gypsy" family to be born on dry land - to becoming one of the most famous musicians in the world, Ronnie Wood toured the world with his Rolling Stone bandmates - Mick, Keith, Charlie and, for a while, Bill. And the five of them have, arguably, been seen in person by more people on this planet than anyone else in the history of mankind. But as mayhem and hysteria invariably followed on Ronnie's adventure through the excesses of rock ‘n roll, the drugs got harder and his relationships - especially with Mick, Keith, various women and his family - became increasingly more complex. This is Ronnie the husband, father, grandfather and rock star the way you have never seen any rock star before. RONNIE is an up-front and personal look at life as a Rolling Stone, from the inside, and at the Stones as the rest of the world has never seen them. After RONNIE, drugs, sex and rock ‘n roll will never be the same again.

Winner of the In the Margins Fiction Award 2019, Recommended Reading.Ronnie was the one child in the Simpson family to escape from the abuse and grow up in a normal home without being bounced from place to place or ending up on the street. That was what the others all thought. That was what Ronnie told herself. When Ronnie could remember.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This story was well written and heartbreaking. It's the story of how easily a child can be manipulated over and over and still not understand how badly she's been mistreated. How the very system that is supposed to keep children safe can fail them. And how the ones we trust the most can do the most horrific things to us and get away with it.
Ronnie is snooker's most written and talked about player, and its greatest showman. His supreme talent and style have made him the People's Champion and, as one commentator put it, 'the question is not how much does Ronnie O'Sullivan need snooker, but how much does snooker need Ronnie O'Sullivan?' A honest and candid account of his extraordinary life, Ronnie tells of the infant who was introduced to legendary snooker clubs at an impossibly early age; of the boy who frightened off the bookies aged just 12; of the teenager whose life was decimated when his father and mentor was sent to prison for life; and of the man dubbed the 'genius' of the modern game who regularly threatened to quit the sport to pursue other interests at the grand old age of 28.'A fine autobiography ... compelling' - Independent'O'Sullivan is as frank about his spell in the Priory clinic as he is about his father's murder conviction. His accounts of snooker tournaments and sketches of the sport's personalities will fascinate fans, but even snooker haters will be rooting for Ronnie in the game of life' - OK!
The late great Dubliner, Ronnie Drew, was six months into writing his biography when he was diagnosed with cancer. He had produced warm, witty and insightful material that made it clear that he was a wonderful writer as well as a great singer and storyteller. With the encouragement of his wife Deirdre and his family, he continued to think about the book and conducted a number of interviews to keep things ticking over until he was well enough to resume work on it. But sadly, much as he wanted to, Ronnie did not get to finish his story. However, with the whole-hearted co-operation of his daughter and son, Cliodhna and Phelim, it has been possible to put together Ronnie's work on his memoir along with his other writings, interviews with Cliodhna and Phelim, a wealth of photographs and other material from the family archive, and contributions from close friends, to create a book that is a wonderful portrait of, and a fitting and loving tribute to, the man Bono called 'the king of Ireland'.
This book is about two brothers, Ronnie and Michael, born to parents of south Italian origin and growing up in small-town Rochester, NY during America's "golden age" of the 1940's and 1950's.
Ronnie Wood is one of the foremost rock guitarists in the world, but his artistic talents extend beyond music. Throughout his stellar musical career from The Birds to the Faces and the Rolling Stones, Ronnie has never lost his passion for painting, drawing and sculpture. Exuding the same irrepressible energy as Ronnie himself, Ronnie Wood: Artist is the first ever comprehensive collection of his paintings and other artworks, created to mark the occasion of his seventieth birthday. The bright, bold volume brings together the fruits of a lifetime in the arts, brimming with six decades of memorable and diverse work, from his art college portfolio (he studied alongside Pete Townshend) to the intimate work of his personal life today. Inside, a generous selection of his Stones work, including rare watercolours of Mick, Keith and Charlie backstage, meets acrylics of contemporaries Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck and Keith Moon. Portraits of formative jazz innovators Count Basie, Miles Davis and Billie Holiday sit alongside blues heroes Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters and Big Bill Broonzy. Paintings of Hollywood’s elite – Paul Newman, James Dean and Marilyn Monroe – juxtapose real-time fashion sketches of Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell and deft pastel compositions from his residency at the Royal Ballet. The artist himself provides the captions and insights into the thought and motivation behind each piece. With an introduction by Emmanuel Guigon (director of the Museu Picasso, Barcelona, where Ronnie will be beginning a residency in 2018) and an afterword by none other than Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood: Artist exists where fine art and rock ’n’ roll collide. This extensive and eclectic collection offers unique insights into the entire world of Ronnie Wood, and, with close to 400 works, is a fitting testament to the artistic range and ambition of rock ’n’ roll’s most successful artist
Ronnie Gilbert had a long and colorful career as a singer, actor, playwright, therapist, and independent woman. Her lifelong work for political and social change was central to her role as a performer. Raised in Depression-era New York City by leftist, working-class, secular Jewish parents, Gilbert is best known as a member of the Weavers, the quartet of the 1950s and '60s that survived the blacklist and helped popularize folk music in America. Her joyous contralto and vibrant stage presence enriched the celebrated group and propelled Gilbert into a second singing career with Holly Near in the 1980s and '90s. As an actor, Gilbert explored developmental theater with Joseph Chaikin and Peter Brook and wrote and performed in ensemble and solo productions across the United States and Canada. Ronnie Gilbert brings the political, artistic, and social issues of the era alive through song lyrics and personal stories, traversing sixty years of collaborations in life and art that span the folk revival, the Cold War blacklist, primal therapy, the back-to-the-land movement, and a rich, multigenerational family story. Much more than a memoir, Ronnie Gilbert is a unique and engaging historical document for readers interested in music, theater, American politics, the women's movement, and left-wing activism.

Ronald James Padavona began playing music in 1950s doo whop bands as a bass and trumpet player. He eventually found his voice, changed his name and took command of the microphone. And thus a rock 'n' roll legend was born. During a career that spanned six decades Ronnie fronted such legendary bands as Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio and Heaven & Hell. Along the way he shared the stage with some of rock 'n' roll's most renowned players like Ritchie Blackmore, Tony Iommi, Vivian Campbell and Vinny Appice. In the 1980s Ronnie rose to superstardom with classic albums like Holy Diver, Last in Line and Sacred Heart. With his medieval-laden lyrics, powerful vocals and larger than life stage shows he gained legions of adoring fans and was loved the world over. By the 2000s he had become an elder statesman and a full-fledged heavy metal icon. This book chronicles Ronnie's life from his humble beginnings in Cortland, New York, up to his time in Heaven & Hell and his eventual passing in 2010.
