The purpose of this project was to develop a remote controlled hovercraft. This project was completed in fulfillment of the requirements fo SENG 466: Software for Embedded and Mechatronics Systems. This project builds on the work completed in Project 1: Prototype Base Station and Remote Station and is the second milestone towards the course goal of building an autonomous hovercraft. The final deliverable must be capable of handling a payload of 1.5kg and must consume no more than 35W of power for its lifting system. Using the air ow generated by propellors, the hovercraft will be lifted by the air captured inside a skirt underneath. The project con- sists of a base station and a remote station, and the hovercraft is controlled by a Playstion 3 gamepad connected to the base station that wirelessly communicates with the remote station onboard the hovercraft.

Leserne vil få forskningsbaserte svar på alle sine spørsmål om kjønnssykdommer, sjokkerende fortellinger fra medisin- og forskningshistorie, et innblikk i mikroorganismenes liv og kunnskap om hva vi kan gjøre for å stoppe dem. Både leger og befolkningen som helhet har en jobb å gjøre, men for å gjøre den jobben trenger vi en god dose folkeopplysning. Med uttalelser som «nesten alle mennesker har herpes», «klamydia kan gjøre deg blind» eller «at en norsk lege forsøkte å behandle syfilis med puss fra syke katter for bare litt over hundre år siden» er bokens mål å knuse veletablerte myter og misforståelser, fjerne skam og stigma og samtidig gi den leserne et innblikk i medisinske problemer knyttet til seksuelt overførbare infeksjoner. Å lære mer om sykdommene vil kunne bidra til å spre forståelse og aksept, og pasienter med vanlige problemer vil kanskje føle seg litt mindre alene. Det er i tillegg ingen tilsvarende bok i salg i dag, hverken på det norske eller engelskspråklige markedet, som fyller det eksisterende behovet om å spre kunnskap, knuse stigmatiserende fordommer, og begrense de potensielle skadene av seksuelt overførbare infeksjoner. Og når dette samtidig gjøres med den humørfylte og sprudlende formidlingsgleden som Støkken Dahl flere ganger har bevist at hun behersker, er det lett å bli smittet, av leseglede. «Å være lege er ofte litt som å være detektiv, og jeg elsker det.
