The Green Revolution, initiated in the 1960s, significantly increased agricultural productivity in India through the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and hybrid crops. While it achieved food security, the negative impacts on soil health, environmental balance, and human health have prompted a re-evaluation of agricultural practices. As a response to these challenges, organic farming has emerged as a sustainable alternative, focusing on eco-friendly methods that enhance biodiversity, soil health, and agricultural resilience against climate variability. This book examines the current trends and developments in organic farming, highlighting its worldwide acceptance and the increasing area of land under organic cultivation. Notably, India ranks among the top ten countries in terms of both land area dedicated to organic farming and market share for organic products. The study explores the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the International Federation for Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM) in promoting organic practices, alongside national policies supporting organic farming across various Indian states.

The contribution of the Hybrid Optimization driven RideNN for Software Reusability Estimation is that the C-RideNN algorithm uses the current Cat Swarm Optimization (CSO) together with the Rider Neural Network (RideNN) for training purposes. This approach consists of developing a technique for the software reuse prediction model to maintain optimal reuse of software components without the likelihood of aging and prone to failure. Criteria, such as complexity, cohesion, and coupling, are considered for reuse with a total of nine metrics. Estimation is performed with the proposed neural network algorithm based on Cat Swarm Rider (C-RideNN) optimization. The The C-RideNN algorithm is formulated by integrating the CSO with the ROA algorithm Estimating software reuse using NN-based optimization has been shown to produce an improved total of nine software-related metrics from software. Estimation of software reuse is done using the proposed C-RideNN algorithm. The C-RideNN algorithm estimates the software reuse factor.

As the industry moves to 65 nanometers and below, the challenges related to the design and manufacture of low-power products have increased exponentially. In response to these challenges, the Common Platform technology collaborators and Cadence Design Systems have developed a 65nm low-power reference flow using the Si2 Common Power Format (CPF) standard to provide a single specification of low-power intent throughout the flow. This paper explains how CPF (Common Power Format) methodology can be used to optimize leakage power effectively compared to ad-hoc methods and CPF enabled tools can be used to implement and verify that the low power features works seamlessly throughout the design flow. The paper will illustrate how the specification of design features such as Power Shut Off (PSO), State Retention (SR) Registers and Isolation (ISO) Cells can be inserted & verified and the advantages of using a CPF based flow over an ad-hoc solution.
