L'otite s ro-muqueuse (OSM) repr sente la premi re cause de perte auditive et dechirurgie chez l'enfant. La rhinite allergique (RA) a t identifi e comme un facteur derisque ind pendant de l'OSM. Notre objectif tait d' tudier l'impact de la RA sur les r sultats th rapeutiques sur les enfants op r s pour une OSM. Nous avons compar les r sultats cliniques et audiom triques de 60 enfants ayant euune pose d'a rateur trans-tympanique (ATT) pour OSM. Les enfants ont t scind s endeux groupes (GI: OSM sans RA et GII: OSM avec RA). Nous avons inclus 60 enfants d' ge moyen gal 6,5 ans. Le seuil auditif moyen taitplus lev pour GII (43 dB contre 39,5 dB). La pr valence de la RA tait de 43%. Le grain auditif moyen trois et six mois de la pose de l'ATT tait plus faible pour le GII (18dB contre 21,5 dB trois mois et 16 dB contre 18,5 dB six mois pour le G1). Apr sl'extraction de l'ATT, le seuil auditif moyen tait de 19 dB pour le GI et 27 dB pour leGII. En postop ratoire, 32% des enfants ont pr sent une otorrh e, dont 25% appartenant au GII. La r cidive de l'OSM apr s extraction de l'ATT a t observ e chez7% des enfants (5% GII et 2% pour le GII).
