Women wear so many hats in life - we are mothers, sisters, daughters etc. Each hat comes with its own expectations and we often find ourselves overwhelmed because we want to play each role well, look good and handle our business In the Akan tribe of Ghana, the phrase obaa sima refers to a woman of strength, nurture, and love. She is more than a diva; she is an ideal woman who has the 'it' factor in all walks of life. We all want that 'it' factor, don't we? It is right here in The "O" Factor The "O" in The "O" Factor stands for obaa sima. In this book, you will find the principles that define a modern day multi-tasking obaa sima who plays multiple roles and wears many hats. The principles are real and can be applied by women from all walks of life. Each principle is emphasized by biblical women whose decisions serve as examples, cautions, warnings or the goal for today's obaa sima.

Originally published in 1969, this book deals extensively with the description and measurement of personality.Beginning with a statement of the principles of typological research in psychology, set against the background of general taxonomic principles in biology, the study discusses in detail results and generalisations from the Eysencks’ previous work. The second part of the book describes several large-scale studies using personality questionnaires prepared by the authors, as well as the standard ones of Cattell and Guilford. There is a comparative study of the Eysenck, Cattell and Guilford inventories, which analyses the degree to which similar factors can be found in these three instruments and discusses areas of agreement and disagreement between the three authors. The third part deals with personality studies in children, and includes a chapter on personality structure in subnormal subjects. These studies are concerned with discovering the extent to which personality structure changes with increasing age, and to what extent it is possible to measure personality in younger children. They also examine sex differences in personality structure, and show quite marked differences between the sexes on a number of primary personality traits. The results of the Eysencks’ work in this field directed new light on the structure of personality and cast doubt on many widely accepted findings of the time.

Sybil, or The Two Nations is one of the finest novels to depict the social problems of class-ridden Victorian England. The book's publication in 1845 created a sensation, for its immediacy and readability brought the plight of the working classes sharply to the attention of the reading public. The 'two nations' of the alternative title are the rich and poor, so disparate in their opportunities and living conditions, and so hostile to each other. that they seem almost to belong to different countries. The gulf between them is given a poignant focus by the central romantic plot concerning the love of Charles Egremont, a member of the landlord class, for Sybil, the poor daughter of a militant Chartist leader.

So I came instead.'A collaboration between journalist Flora Rheta Schreiber and Sybil's psychiatrist, Dr. Cornelia Wilbur, Sybil is the story of a woman with sixteen separate personalities, and was instrumental in influencing the definition and diagnosis of multiple personality disorder. Lesbians are often told that we have no culture, that we have no history, and yet lesbians are always rediscovering hidden histories, literary traditions, codes and behaviours that have been obscured, obliterated or proclaimed irrelevant. Sybil: The Glide of Her Tongue challenges that version of history. Gillian Hanscombe has written an exhilarating and richly textured collection of poems.

Sybil traces the plight of the working classes of England. The "two nations" of its subtitle refers to the huge economic and social gap between the privileged few and the deprived working classes. Disraeli was interested in dealing with the horrific conditions in which the majority of England's working classes lived - or, what is generally called the Condition of England question. The book is a novel with a thesis - which was meant to create a furor over the squalor that was plaguing England's working class cities.
