The rite of passage from elementary school to high school for Trudi is fraught with adventure, challenges and just plain craziness. Trudi retells these stories and occasionally turns to the reader asking him or her introspective questions about what they would do in a wild and crazy situation. So put on your adventurous thinking cap and dive into the zany episodes of Trudi Hierholzer. Plus, the illustrations have clues to solving a word puzzle. Enjoy
"The craziest, weirdest, funniest, spy spoof I've ever encountered."What's wrong with us Brits? Nothing that Trudi can't put right. A pre-teen feisty female like her can fix anything. Especially when she's teamed up with a crazy cat, a cantankerous parrot and an MI6 agent with a history of mental health issues.Unfortunately, reshaping the nation's destiny is a tad trickier than it looks. Plus, events and people have an annoying knack of going their own way, instead of doing what they're told.A drawback of being twelve is that there are one or two things in life left to learn after all. Not that she's the only one. Grownups in this story have a fair few shocks in store too. But are they delights or disasters? It's possible that the end of this story is really just a beginning ...
5.0 out of 5 stars All Things Must End ... 28 Jan. 2015By Charlie O - Published on Amazon.com.... Be they Good or Bad.In Trudi's case it was the love of her life and the person who helped make her who she became.Trudi continues on her path to becoming a great Lady in the true sense. Along the way she does her best to help those who need it and enable those that are driven to move forward. Some chaff has to be dealt with and there in lies a mystery for one that likely deserved what he got. You will need to read the story to find out who and why.Another mystery surrounds the death of the mother of Simon's children that is also left hanging only to reappear and indirectly results in Simon's death.Adrienne did a wonderful job of adding mystery into the otherwise purpose driven life of Trudi.Takeaway's include, -- Presentation makes a difference. ie. Dress and act as you expect others to see you. If you dress and act as a Lady or Gentleman then others will respond to you as such. Act as a Slob or Punk then expectations will be as you deserve.-- Treat others with the respect they earn.-- Help those in need and reward those that perform. The corollary is that some times culling is needed.-- Follow your heart and do the right thing. The story of Trudi displays a Rags to Riches account of a True Lady that is Selfless in helping those around her with Compassion..In reading this episode in Trudi's life it brought back memories of the Life and Times of William Volker (Mr. Anonymous of Kansas City, MO) who also lived a Selfless life helping build a great business empire and enabling those around him as well as helping others in need... William married my Great Aunt Rose and was a major key in leading Kansas City to greatness much as Trudi did with Simon's empire. The point of these two stories to me is that -- Greatness begets Greatness -- be it Fiction or Real Life.Yes this is a Transsexual oriented story but it about so much more and puts the human condition on display.Another Great Job Adrienne and Thanks> Go to Amazon.com to see the review 5.0 out of 5 starsAmazon.com: 5.0 out of 5 stars 1 review
So what Trudi's only just turned five? Somehow or other she always manages to get close to the action. Too close for her own good in this story, as she ends up getting kidnapped not once but twice. Happily, because she's as irresistible as she is resourceful, she either escapes from or wins round her captors.
Trudi Penislow is a seriously feisty (and precocious) nine-year-old Cornish girl on a mission to save the world from climate catastrophe. Though her dad’s a former Prime Minister she reckons she’s got the better handle on political activism. Taking her lead from the famous Scandinavian activist Feta Cheeseburg, she aims for swifter results with the help of her grumpy cat, Fang, and her talkative parrot, Lady Casement. Unfortunately, her online efforts enrage hostile political actors who believe that disruption caused in the west by global warming will work to their advantage. Sensing danger, Trudi’s dad seeks help from the Foreign Secretary, who’s an old chum. Dazzlingly incompetent though the man is, he does get a couple of colourful, female MI6 operatives on the case. Which is lucky, as Trudi’s in imminent danger of being kidnapped. She likes to hope her strategic brilliance will make it ever so easy to trample all over her enemies. But there are lots of them, and they’re not stupid …
