The book by Yury Olshansky, written in Russian, includes seven cycles of poems and three one-act plays. The polyphonic development of the themes crafted by the author finds itself in a unified resonance - from the mystery of birth to the mystery of death and the ultimate transformation of the unique human soul, not resigned in its ascents and descents, with the loss of its divine origin but striving again and again to attain primal love, beauty, and harmony.
The book by Yury Olshansky includes chronicles of representatives of the cultural underground scene in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) in the late 1960s and 1970s, prose from that time period, essays dedicated to the memory of friends: writers, artists, performers, written both in Russia and abroad.

The author of the present work "History and philosophy entrepreneurship in Russia" is Professor, Doctor of Cultural Studies and Russian writer Yuri Pompeev. This book is, in our view, a real masterpiece, and can justly take place in the Russian historiography next to the volumes of "History of the Russian State" by N.M. Karamzin (1766-1826) and Complete lectures on the Russian history by academician S.F. Platonov (1860-1933). Y.A. Pompeev is particularly concentrating on entertaining scenes of everyday life of the people in Russian history. The rich experience of human management in harsh environmental conditions creates enterprise and lays the foundations for the formation and development of commercial, industrial and banking business in Russia of IX - XX centuries.

Beauty embraces horror – concentrated colours and motifs with depth. Yury Kharchenko is an outstanding representative of contemporary painting. He creates works in cycles which reflect his profound connections with existential themes like darkness and light. He combines masterful colourfulness with dense substance to create a unique pictorial language ranging from the poetic to the strident. This volume illustrates his works from the last six years lavishly, together with knowledgeable texts. In our consumer society, is the culture of remembrance increasingly degenerating into an entertainment park? In a time of growing anti-Semitism and relativisation of the Holocaust, Yury Kharchenko’s latest pictures demonstrate an explicitness and vehemence that are new to his work. He uses the vocabulary of Pop culture, of Disney and Hollywood, which he mixes with fantasies of violence containing taboo references to the Holocaust. The result is an artistic oeuvre which makes us look carefully and aims to galvanise.

Neural Network Modeling and Identification of Dynamical Systems
Yury Tiumentsev; Mikhail Egorchev
Academic Press Inc
2019
nidottu
Neural Network Modeling and Identification of Dynamical Systems presents a new approach on how to obtain the adaptive neural network models for complex systems that are typically found in real-world applications. The book introduces the theoretical knowledge available for the modeled system into the purely empirical black box model, thereby converting the model to the gray box category. This approach significantly reduces the dimension of the resulting model and the required size of the training set. This book offers solutions for identifying controlled dynamical systems, as well as identifying characteristics of such systems, in particular, the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft.
The Death of Vazir-Mukhtar, a novel by Yury Tynyanov, one of the leading figures of the Russian formalist school, describes the final year in the life of Alexander Griboedov, the author of the comedy Woe from Wit. As ambassador to Persia, Griboedov was murdered in 1829 by a Tehrani mob during the sacking of the Russian embassy. One of the central texts of Russian formalist literary production, the novel is a brilliant meditation on the nature of historical and poetic consciousness and of artistic creation. It is a complex and fascinating work that explores the relationships among individual memory, historical fact, and the literary imagination. The result is a hybrid text, containing elements of various genres—historical, biographical, existential, and adventure novels—and a deeply personal, almost confessional testament to the writer’s relationship to his generation and the state. Completed in 1927, almost a century after the events it depicts, The Death of Vazir-Mukhtar marks the watershed between revolution and reaction. At a time when the Soviet regime was becoming increasingly restrictive of freedom of expression and conscience, Tynyanov grappled with the themes of disillusionment, betrayal, and unrealized potential. Unabashedly intellectual yet filled with intrigue and suspense, The Death of Vazir-Mukhtar is a great historical novel of Russian modernism.

The Molecular Theory of Adsorption in Porous Solids
Yury Konstantinovich Tovbin
CRC Press

nidottu
In the adsorption phenomenon the substances from the external environment the gas or liquid are absorbed by a solid surface (adsorbent). Adsorption is used to separate gaseous and liquid mixtures, for drying and purification of gases and liquids. This reference broadly explores the calculation of the equilibrium and dynamic characteristics of adsorption in porous bodies at the molecular level. Two new theories of statistical physics are presented, both developed by the author for the consistent description of the equilibrium distribution of molecules and dynamics of flows in complex porous materials to be able to solve a wide range of practical tasks in the development of new technologies.
Alkene Polymerization Reactions with Transition Metal Catalysts
Yury Kissin

sidottu
During the past 30 years, the field of alkene polymerization over transition metal catalysts underwent several major changes: 1. The list of commercial heterogeneous Ziegler-Natta catalysts for the synthesis of polyethylene and stereoregular polyolefins was completely renewed affording an unprecedented degree of control over the polymer structure. 2. Research devoted to metallocene and other soluble transition-metal catalysis has vastly expanded and has shifted toward complexes of transition metals with multidentate ligands. 3. Recent developments in gel permeation chromatography, temperature-rising fractionation, and crystallization fractionation provided the first reliable information about differences between various active centers in transition-metal catalysts. 4. A rapid development of high-resolution 13C NMR spectroscopy resulted in greatly expanded understanding of the chemical and steric features of polyolefins and alkene copolymers. These developments require a new review of all aspects of alkene polymerization reactions with transition-metal catalysts. The first chapter in the book is an introductory text for researchers who are entering the field. It describes the basic principles of polymerization reactions with transition-metal catalysts, the types of catalysts, and commercially manufactured polyolefins. The next chapter addresses the principal issue of alkene polymerization catalysis: the existence of catalyst systems with single and multiple types of active centers. The subsequent chapters are devoted to chemistry and stereochemistry of elemental reaction steps, structures of catalyst precursors and reactions leading to the formation of active centers, kinetics of polymerization reactions, and their mechanisms.
Combinatorics of Symmetric Designs
Yury J. Ionin; Mohan S. Shrikhande
Cambridge University Press
2006
sidottu
The aim of this book is to provide a unified exposition of the theory of symmetric designs with emphasis on recent developments. The authors cover the combinatorial aspects of the theory giving particular attention to the construction of symmetric designs and related objects. The last five chapters of the book are devoted to balanced generalized weighing matrices, decomposable symmetric designs, subdesigns of symmetric designs, non-embeddable quasi-residual designs, and Ryser designs. Most results in these chapters have never previously appeared in book form. The book concludes with a comprehensive bibliography of over 400 entries. Researchers in all areas of combinatorial designs, including coding theory and finite geometries, will find much of interest here. Detailed proofs and a large number of exercises make this book suitable as a text for an advanced course in combinatorial designs.
