Windell has served United Methodist congregations in Southern Indiana for 36 years. He is inspired by mission service and has developed an annual United Methodist Pastor's Retreat and Seminar Center in Ilula, Tanzania in addition to being involved with the establishment of new churches. He is currently working on a book of meditations for Lent.
