<p>The purpose of this research was to examine the evolution of the Acquisition Review Journal (ARJ) through its first eleven years of publication. Researchers will assess the Defense Acquisition community through a review of ARJ articles. It considers what areas academics and practitioners have explored and how they have done so. This review documents such characteristics as areas of study, methods of study, and contributors. Trends are identified and conclusions are drawn as to the contribution of the ARJ to the Defense Acquisition community of practice. </p><p>This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. This work was reproduced from the original artifact, and remains as true to the original work as possible.
