Additional information has also been provided on special tools and equipment used in horticulture, water lifting devices, and the calibration of seed drills. The first edition of this book was widely used as a standard reference for graduate students in agricultural engineering and regular engineering colleges, and the current edition is expected to serve the same purpose. It can be used as a ready reference for teaching staff in educational institutions and testing centers, extension workers, scientists, and farmers.
