Jeremiah "Jerry" Ayers is a twentysomething graduate student still living in his parents' basement. He despises his reactionary father and resents his mother's religious faith. Although Jerry's antithetical views seem cast in stone, No Name brings about a change of heart by time hopping from Gettysburg to Auschwitz, Ancient Babylon to the Alamo and beyond. Uncle Sam's White Hat covers a swath of history in a dizzying ride from the beginning of time to the present with seemingly random stops along a cosmic continuum that, when connected together, lead to a most unexpected but undeniable conclusion.
