Killer Queens is a new series of historical fiction books based on true stories. The series explores the world of murder in the gay community, whether the victims or the killers themselves and sometimes both are homosexuals.Book 2 of the series focuses on the serial killer of at least 27 young men and boys in Germany in the post-World War 1 era. At the center of this murder case were Fritz Haarmann and Hans Grans, who were lovers while committing these murders. It wasn't until the skulls and bones started washing ashore from the Leine River in Hanover that Germany realized they had a cold-blooded serial killer in their country.Unlike Leopold and Loeb murder case covered in Book 1, where the dominance shifted from one to the other, Fritz Haarmann was the dominant partner in this case. He carried out each of the murders and dismemberment of the bodies himself, even though he claimed that Grans chose who was to be murdered in court. As you read the exploration of the case in this book, ask yourself, did Haarmann murder each victim to keep his lover Hans Grans to stay with him? Did Grans decide who it was that was to be murdered? The evidence, in this case, will keep you on the edge of your seat, trying to determine who was really behind these gruesome murders.

The Killer Queens is a new series of historical fiction books based on true stories. Sources, such as police reports and newspaper articles, are examined to gather as many facts as possible surrounding each case. As with any work of fiction, some creative additions are made when telling these stories, usually within the conversations between the personalities involved. The various sources are the basis of these conversations and hopefully, make them come alive for the readers to help understand what was meant by those words.Book 1 of the series focuses on what has been called "The Crime of the Century" in 1920s United States. At the center of this murder case were Nathan Leopold Jr. and Richard Loeb - two wealthy University of Chicago students who, in May of 1924, kidnapped and murdered 14-year-old Bobby Franks. With Leopold and Loeb, both males, the dominance shifted from one to the other. Regardless of who held it, the result was the same. They were both very interested in crime and pushing the envelope for the next thrill. The vicious "thrill kill" of Bobby Franks was the bloody result of an intense and unhealthy co-dependent bond between the murdering duo.As you read the exploration of the case in this book, ask yourself: Would these young men be as vulnerable to their manipulations today? If they couldn't have harnessed and used shame as a control tactic, would they have been as successful at recruiting a criminal counterpart? Finally, to what degree can we hold the prevalent homophobia of this era accountable as a force to bear on this tragedy?

The House of Mystery Radio Show has been on the air for ten years, broadcasting in over a dozen cities in the U.S. It started as a way to interview guests knowledgeable in many of the world's mysteries involving crime, science, religion, history, paranormal, conspiracies, etc. The House of Mystery Interview series is a curated collection of interviews from the show. Each volume focuses on one of the mysteries, providing the background and reproducing the main points discussed in the interviews. There will be no committed answer at the end, as the Interviews series does not attempt to solve the case. Instead, it provides the most compelling aspects of each theory held by different experts. This series is an excellent reference for researchers and a good overview for those unfamiliar with the case. Online links to the actual interviews are included. Volume 5 of the House of Mystery Interviews Series will focus on theories that go against the scientific facts that we have learned over many generations of the human race. There is something uniquely intriguing about a good conspiracy theory. They tell tales of heroes, villains, and alternative realities. Conspiracy theories represent secret knowledge: real or not, and there is something very pleasing about having supposed insider knowledge. Because of their entertainment value, you can find conspiracy theories everywhere. Implausibility doesn't make conspiracy theories less entertaining. What if the moon landing was faked? Who would have been involved? How could they have pulled it off, and why? What if the earth is encapsulated by a celestial lid? What if the infamous leader of the Third Reich escaped Germany? What if President Franklin Roosevelt had allowed the Pearl Harbor attacks to happen? These are a few of the conspiracy theories discussed in this volume. As with the others in this series, this book will cover the most popular conspiracies - the ones that have gained lots of ground in the media and on the internet. Some of them even have celebrity followers. During the interviews, guests were shown the utmost respect, as we tried to find out their reasoning for believing what they do and how they developed their beliefs.
Volume 4 of the Interview Series, "Mysterious Celebrity Deaths," covers interviews relating to the mysterious deaths of the influential rock band Nirvana's frontman Kurt Cobain, the 1960s mega-icon Marilyn Monroe, TV's Hogan's Heroes lead actor Bob Crane, the talented and multi-award-winning actress Natalie Wood, and the people's princess, Princess Diana. Volume 3 of the Interview Series, "Zodiac Killer," covers another serial killer who has stayed in the spotlight for years after their case has gone cold. It's been over 40 years now, and fascination with the Zodiac is still going strong. Experts passionately debate Zodiac suspects, Zodiac''s letters/ciphers, opinions, and theories. Even which murder victims to include in the case is widely debated. The House of Mystery Radioshow has been on the air for ten years, broadcasting in over a dozen cities in the U.S. It started as a way to interview guests knowledgeable in many of the world's mysteries involving crime, science, religion, history, paranormal, conspiracies, etc. The House of Mystery Interview series is a curated collection of interviews from the show. The diverse mix of authors interviewed includes cryptologist and cipher expert David Oranchak, authors who propose their suspects are already convicted serial killers, authors who claim the Zodiac was their father, authors who offer new or already considered suspects, and an author who argues the Zodiac killer didn't exist at all and that Zodiac was a hoax.

Volume 2 of the Interview Series, "JFK Assassination," covers the unrivaled historical mystery of historical mysteries. The JFK assassination is the grandfather of all conspiracies in America and arguably where they all started. A highly popular President with movie star looks and charisma, effecting significant changes in society, was brutally cut down in his prime. The official story was that JFK was killed by a sole assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald. However, many conspiracy theorists believe in an assassination plot involving the FBI, CIA, U.S. military, VP LBJ, Cuba's Fidel Castro, Russia's KGB, the Mafia, or some combination of those entities. The research and interviewing of the JFK assassination experts lasted for over six years. Arguments and counter-arguments from a diverse mix of bestselling authors make for some interesting discussions. And some of the authors interviewed are considered just as controversial as the mystery itself. Most authors focused on who they believe was responsible for the assassination. Others narrowed their focus on certain related aspects, such as the Zapruder film, Nix film, Garrison Tapes, etc. All information collected from each expert adds value to the overall mystery.
The House of Mystery radio show has been on the air for ten years, broadcasting in over a dozen cities in the United States, including KKNW 1150 A.M. Seattle/Tacoma, and KCAA 106.5 F.M. Los Angeles - 102.3 F.M. Riverside - 1050 A.M. Palm Springs. I started the show to find out as much information on the world's mysteries in fields like Crime, Science, Religion, History, Paranormal, and more. Like most people, the stories and rumors I've heard, books I've read, or documentaries I've watched would seldom provide one direct answer to a question. Throughout my time recording interviews, I would seek out people who had researched a subject enough to have written a book, developed a documentary, or were involved in the event or topic enough to have the knowledge I was seeking. The strange thing I found was that in most cases, there was a popular or mainstream idea of what happened or was reported at the time of the event. But then most of the favorite writers who had books or shows about the event often disagreed with the current theory. They would go as far as to accuse the media of faking the story and hiding the truth from everyone. An example would be the JFK Assassination. There is a common theory reported by different government agencies and news media that most people in America accept as the truth. However, ever since the release of the original Warren Report on the assassination, hundreds of opposing theories have been promoted by authors and researchers. In this series, each volume focuses on one of the conspiracies discussed on the show. Each book lays out the case details, reviews the official reports, and then follows up with each of the alternative theories presented during the interviews with the person or people reporting on them. There will be no committed answer at the end of the book. The House of Mystery Interviews series does not attempt to solve the case. Instead, it provides a concise review of the crucial and fascinating points learned during the show's interviews. The book is an excellent reference for other researchers and a good overview for those unfamiliar with the case.In Volume 1 of the series, the focus is on the infamous Jack the Ripper, or Whitechapel murders from 1888 in London, England. We have interviewed well over 20 authors/researchers of the Whitechapel Murders on the show. The guests found in this book represent a particular type of research in the case. Some are Suspect Researchers (i.e., those having a specific suspect they believe is responsible for the killings). Their work lays out all the information supporting their theories. We had researchers who took a more scientific approach, as is the case with Michael Hawley, and then others who provided a list of all the suspects and the main elements of why each one was a suspect Also included in this book is what I refer to as "Spectacle Books" written about the case. For INTRODUCTION instance, the theory that the American H.H. Holmes was Jack the Ripper after a distant relative made the accusation; and the theory surrounding Catherine Eddowes's shawl, which some researchers claim to have Jack the Ripper's DNA on it. Discussion about the essential question concerning the actual number of victims is also included. Were there only five? We also include a researcher who examined the crime scenes and recounted their opinion of the murders.
It was a crime unlike anything seen in British Columbia. The horror of the "Wells Gray Murders" almost forty years ago transcends decades. On August 2, 1982, three generations of a family set out on a camping trip - Bob and Jackie Johnson, their two daughters, Janet, 13 and Karen, 11, and Jackie's parents, George and Edith Bentley. A month later, the Johnson family car was found off a mountainside logging road near Wells Gray Park completely burned out. In the back seat were the incinerated remains of four adults, and in the trunk were the two girls. But this was not just your average mass murder. It was much worse. Over time, some brutal details were revealed; however, most are still only known to the murderer, David Ennis (formerly Shearing). His crimes had far-reaching impacts on the family, community, and country. It still does today. Every time Shearing attempts freedom from the parole board, the grief is triggered as everyone is forced to relive the horrors once again. Murder Times Six shines a spotlight on the crime that captured the attention of a nation, recounts the narrative of a complex police investigation, and discusses whether a convicted mass murderer should ever be allowed to leave the confines of an institution. Most importantly, it tells the story of one family forever changed.
