In times of disaster, tragedy, or personal problems, the process of rebuilding lives might seem overwhelming and scary. However, the Bible gives us advice, consolation, and hope in such times. It tells us tales of people and communities who overcome misfortune and found fortitude to restore their lives with the aid of God. One such inspirational narrative is that of Nehemiah. In the book of Nehemiah, we learn about how he oversaw the rebuilding work of the walls of Jerusalem after they had been demolished. Nehemiah faced several hurdles, including hostility from opponents, discouragement, and internal strife. However, he never lost hope and relied on God's direction throughout the process. Nehemiah 2:18b offers a poignant reminder of his unshakeable faith: "Let us rise up and build." Similarly, in the New Testament, we have the tale of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. This fable tells us about God's unconditional love and forgiveness. The prodigal son, after wasting his wealth, found himself in a dire position. But when he humbled himself and returned to his father, he was received with open arms, and his life was revolutionized. This narrative stresses that no matter how damaged or lost we may feel, God is always ready to heal and reconstruct our lives when we come to Him. Additionally, the prophet Isaiah presents us with a message of hope in Isaiah 61:3: "To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." This passage reminds us that God can swap our grief and sadness for pleasure and healing, creating beauty out of the ashes of our existence. Rebuilding lives is not a single task. It involves trust, endurance, and dependence on God's direction and promises. The Bible is a source of encouragement, giving us instances of humans who survived hardship and achieved healing. By turning to these tales and scriptures, we may find courage and motivation to rebuild our lives, knowing that God is with us every step of the journey.

The same thing you are giving to the business world, package it and give to My Church beginning from the Bible. Empower the business people, raise for Me quality leaders and give youth a sense of purpose and achievement." These words came to me from the throne of God in September 1994, during my quiet time. That is MY LIFE ASSIGNMENT. This is the first reason why I wrote this book, obeying divine mandate. In the course of my professional career as Business Coach and top management trainer to several blue chip companies and small scale businesses, I was privileged to see transformed personalities. I have watched businesses grown and exploded, resulting from our system and capacity building. When God directed me to focus on His Church, I was expected and expectant to see Him do more for His own people. This is the second reason why I wrote this book. I have discovered that with extra encouragement for ordinary folks to add extra efforts to their ordinary occupations, everyone is capable of becoming extra ordinary. I wrote the book for this third reason: to provide the sparks for your fuse. You will be reading to uncover for yourself the contents of your potential. When you allow the spark I am providing through these pages and your fuse to get heated, I hope to accomplish another feat in your life before you finish reading through this book. You will set your potential on fire. The limits you have are the ones you set up in your own mind. This book will show you how to go beyond your limits.

I started writing this book in 1994. That was the year the LORD graciously commissioned me to raise for Him Quality leaders. I started with Ministers' and Pastors' workshop. Training for ushers was the second assignment I handled among the three fold mandates the LORD gave me in 1994. But, no book was written by me back then, neither did I come across any specialized book on Ushers, Greeters and Protocols in one volume, 20 years ago.I have been privileged to conduct Training courses across the length and breadth of Nigeria on Ushering ministry for 20 years. I have interacted with over 400 churches from over 280 denominations in conferences and seminars but I never wrote a book on this topic. Our outfit, Christian Leadership Skills, have been involved in mass training for ushers in churches that counted 120,000 on Sundays with Ushers' workforce of about 4,000. I have written 36 books todate, but none on Ushers, Protocol and Greeters until now.A particular mega church invited us to deliver training for ushers and crowd controllers twice within three months in their headquarters church. Their invitation came a bit late I could not be there physically. I didn't have a book on Ushers or crowd control. Only a manual.Churches get confused on the role of ushers as different from protocol officers. I have witnessed ushers and protocols fight for territories in churches. A particular church head usher insists that he must stay side by side with the protocol officer by the altar, very close to the anointed. There was no book to show where each belong.A particular ministry scrapped the word "Ushers" from the list of ministries. The General Overseer banned the entire ushers from officiating in the length and breadth of the church. His reason? Brethren have the Holy Spirit to direct them. No need for Ushers and the church went on "smoothly thereafter". I had no book to give to the man of God. No book I could give, until 20 years later Who are Ushers? Who are Protocol officers? Who are Greeters? Who are Traffic Controllers? I didn't write any book to explain. I only explain during workshop session. Now the explanation has become handy.

God called me in September 1994. It was during my quiet time before going out for my consulting practice. I was then the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Consultant of Alaryn Management Centre Ltd. I was deeply involved in boosting sales, training and equipping managers and officers of various companies who retained us as their Management/Training consultant. By the grace of God, several small and big companies grew and benefitted from our consulting services.I heard God clearly telling me on that fateful morning thus "The same things you are giving to the business world, package it, give it to my church, beginning with the Bible..." I have been doing just that since 1994, as CEO Christian Leadership Skills Inc. The divine call is one of the reasons why I wrote this book. I have been involved in Christian leadership since 1982. But I started pastoring in 1995, as Senior Pastor. It has been my motivation, desire and passion to see God's work grow and progress. Most of the principles in this book, if not all, have been practiced with results in our ministry. When I was privileged to become the President of AGAPE Conference in 1987, only one or two churches attended. By 2003, 203 churches from 85 denominations became regular participants. In other words, I am a fellow student with you dear precious reader in this same school of church growth. This is the second reason why I wrote this book .My wife, Lara, is a Mathematician. She has been teaching Mathematics since 1989. Naturally, she likes computation and percentages. We came back from a Pastors' meeting one evening, Lara analyzed the various reports submitted by about 187 churches. Her statistical conclusion got my attention. She found out that only two churches of the lot were above 1,000 in attendance. Only one church was 500 in attendance, ten churches averaged 300 worshippers. About twenty-four churches were above 100. One hundred and fifty churches were below 100 in attendance.Though our church was above 1,000 at that time, we received a burden, a mandate to seek for what factors make for church growth. When we searched further, we discovered that 87% of churches in Nigeria were below 200 in attendance. This is the third reason why I wrote this book. It is to report our findings on what make churches grow. I have also discovered that success in ministry is more than numbers. What makes for success in the eyes of God, the LORD of the harvest, is not the same indices used by men to bench mark success. There are habits found with successful pastors. In fact, by and large, success in ministry is an inside job. No work can grow faster on the outside than the man behind the work is growing on the inside. This is my fourth reason for writing this book. The challenge of growth is enormous in the gospel ministry in Nigeria and Africa. The problem and challenges we face are not the same as those faced in other lands and under different climes. The few books we are reading on Church Growth are written by foreign authors, far removed from our context. Many are not relevant to Africa. Except from the writings of Dr. Francis Akin-John, Bishiop David Oyedepo, Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo and very few others, there are not many books and literature on what makes churches and ministries to grow in our contemporary African setting. If this gap is filled a little by this book, then the fifth reason for its writing is justified. We need to continually elevate our thoughts in search of solutions to problems that confront us today. We can not solve our current problems with the level of thinking of yesteryears. This book is a little effort to advance the frontiers of knowledge on the subject of church growth. This is the seventh reason why it took me about 25 years of christian leadership experience, over a decade in pastoring small and growing large churches, and 100,0000 hours, to put down 100 ways to increase church attendance.

God sent me to empower the business people, to raise effective leadership and give the youth a sense of direction and achievement: I am to give to the church, the "things" I was giving the business world. This is the number one reason why I wrote this book. I discovered a powerful truth after about twenty years in the world of work and business. The first seven years in two salaried jobs and next ten years as a self employed professional, another three years as people's skills developer, business and leadership coach, and CEO of Christian Leadership Skills Inc., I discovered that having a job gets in the way of getting rich. When you read the next chapter on "21 REASONS WHY YOU MUST FIRE YOUR BOSS AND HIRE YOURSELF," you will see the second reason why I wrote this book. I had an encounter through a chanced discussion with my bank manager some years ago, after ten years of doing business. She asked if I was involved or knowledgeable in investing. Her experience got me startled. I wished I had been to her earlier. She told me that her family had been living on dividend income for about four years following seven years of commitment to investment. This highly paid banker hardly used her salaries nor that of her husband's business to run the family. They never needed to. I learnt the difference between earning money and making money. Prior to this period, I was working harder than my money. Following this divine enlightenment, I learnt, how to make my money work harder and how to be rich. This is the third reason why I wrote this book - to get your job out of your way, so you can be rich. Your employers can never make you rich.

When I first wrote the first edition of the run-away bestseller: HOW TO CREATE MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME in 2008, the global economic was just entering recession. Economic recession is a temporary slowdown in economic activity or prosperity. Nigeria and other developing economics were playing the ostrich game. They were too sure the recession would not affect their largely mono-product economies. How wrong they were. I pursued this mandate by organizing seminars in churches across the country with Christian Leadership Skills, as the platform. I also had my consulting outfit: Alaryn Management Centre Ltd operating in the corporate world of consultancy. The scope of streams of income available to me at this stage were consultancy fees and honourarium. One of the reasons why 54% of people working all their lives still end up broke and dependent on others for survival is because, they are working hard for the wrong kind of money. It is hard to become rich at 60, if you have to work hard for certain types of income, which I will be highlighting very shortly. To become rich at 60, you need to learn how to build, buy or create assets. It will all depend on what you want from your money: To be secured, comfortable or rich? The journey towards retiring rich and happy is primarily that of the mind and of the heart, rather than a physical process. A research finding quoted in my earlier best seller How To Fire Your Boss And Hire Yourself, stated that if you randomly select 100 young men at age 20 and follow them up till they are 60 years of age, the following results will manifest in their lives.

Condoleeza decided as early as age 15, when she graduated from high school, to influence her world. As a black young woman, she resolved that black is not synonymous with lack, and it does not need to be white, in order to be right. At age nineteen, she received her bachelor's degree and went on to earn a doctorate. By the time she was twenty-six, Condi was an Assistant Professor at Stanford University. Twelve years later, she became the first female, non white, and youngest person to serve as Stanford's Provost. When her future, which she dreamt of at age seven, finally arrived, Condoleeza did not have to send her tesume to the White House. She was rather invited to serve in George Bush's cabinet, as Secretary of State. To the consternation of her nation, Condi turned down the offer. Why? She knew her worth. She knew that when you are loaded, you will definitely be needed. Bush persisted in his demand. Condoleeza saw her opportunity.. She would only serve on one condition: Mrica should be one of the centerpiece of America foreign policy. Bush succumbed. He could not afford not to have precious Condi as condiment for his government. Just before the Obama Phenomenon, a CNN reporter sought to know from Barbara Bush, the American first Lady, who the likely candidate to succeed her husband could be. Barbara Bush did not think twice it would be Condoleeza Rice. Ngozi Iweala was an ordinary girl from a remote village in Eastern Nig ria. She groomed herself unnoticed. When Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigerian Executive President, wanted a Joseph to manage excess crude oil money and liberate the Nation from age long internal and international debt, he went looking for Ngozi Iweala. She did not apply for the job. When she finally agreed to be the Finance Minister, it was on her own terms. She was to be chairman of the Nation's Economic and Fiscal planning. She must be free to choose her own team. She was to be encumbered by bureacratic bottle neck. Obansanjo succumbed and fix her remuneration in foreign currency. When Ngozi was reassigned to Foreign Ministry portfolio, the capital market sneezed. Nigerian foreign partners stood on edge. Three months later, Ngozi resigned. Why? Her condition for accepting to serve was violated by the President. She was no longer to remain as Chairman of National Economic Planning. Nigerian government lost a gem to the waiting arms of World Bank in New York. Dr. Ngozi Iweala became the first female non white, Managing Director of the World Bank. She pulled her team mate Dr Obiageli Ekwesile with her. Oby became the first female World Bank Vice President for Africa. When Barack Hussein Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988, no one in particular took note of the 27 year old black young man, with any futuristic implication. At the end of his first year, he was selected, based on his grades and a writing competition, as an editor of the prestigious Harvard Law Review. Obama prepared himself as a community organizer and civil rights attorney. He served three terms in the Illinois senate from 1997 to 2004. He was elected to US Senate in November 2004, with 70 percent of the vote. He sponsored and led unanimous bipartisan passage of legislation to monitor racial profiling. By the time Obama delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National convention in July 2004, the nation took note of his capacity built over the years. At 47, on November 4 2008 America and indeed, the World changed, as he predicted during his campaign

Why I Wrote This Book Millions of people that would have joined the millionaires club, are held back, always by one factor - lack of capital. About twenty years after I started my own business with less than One thousand Naira (N1,000), ($8), I speak from the vantage position of experience. The principles in this book have worked in my own life, both in business and ministry. That is the first reason why I wrote this book, the principles of starting business with little or no money works. I have been privileged to coach several thousands of small-scale business owners, civil servants, unemployed graduates and students since 1994. It has been my pleasure to see young millionaires emerge, after 5 to 6 years, starting with practically nothing but an ironclad determination to start where they are. These living witnesses are the second reason why I wrote this book. I have discovered that the hardest currency is not the Pound Sterling or American Dollar. The hardest currency is neither Euros nor Japanese Yen. The hardest currency is an IDEA, whose time has come. Every human mind plays host to at least 10,000 ideas daily. Some are good and some very bad. Motivational masters and social psychologists estimate that there are four major ideas, that greet every man yearly. Any of these ideas when developed, is capable of changing the economic story of the individual positively, forever. I have presented 50 business idea that ordinary folks like you and I can develop and change our economic fortunes forever. Trust me I have developed one or two, and teach several of them to thousands of people in the last twenty years, since I discovered them. This is my number three reason for writing this book. I started my business on a small scale. I started with sharing an office space, because I could not afford a full month rent. By the grace of God, using the principles in this book, our business later occupied five offices. Two years later, we employed eight graduates. This book shows you how to start small, it also shows you how not to remain small. This is my fourth reason for writing this book. You will learn the power of initiative and daring.

I entered into the church premises, no one noticed me. The usher hurriedly passed me into church service as if I was disturbing the traffic. When I tried to park my car on my first visit to the church, he yelled and barked at me because I was wrongly parked. I did not complain. I even greeted him heartily, but I was answered under breath with scant murmur. I took it. I entered with my heavily pregnant wife who desired to stay in an airy part of the auditorium and close to "the ladies", but we were snubbed and treated as troublesome. The day's bulletin was pressed into our hands, as if we were beggars. I tried to compliment the Usher for his kindness, he wouldn't bother to look at my face. I took up the hymn book during congregational song, it was snatched from me by the usher, saying I ought to share with others. I never complained, even though I would have happily shared this, if I had been told earlier. As we stood to go after the service, we were ordered to move out "without making a noise" I didn't nag. Not even one person standing as usher ever smiled or looked at our "sinful faces, all through the solemn service. I came the following Sunday, hoping for a better reception this time. I got none. Still, I never complained; that was uncalled for. No, I am the nice worshipper. And I'll tell you who else I am. I'm the worshipper who never comes back This is the challenge facing the church today - attracting, retaining and assimilating more first time guests. This is why this book is timely and for you especially.

Now, it came to pass that a group existed who called themselves fishermen. And lo, there were many fish in the waters all around. In fact, the whole area was surrounded by streams and lakes filled with fish. And the fish were hungry. Week after week, month after month, and year after year, these who called themselves fishermen met in meetings and talked about their call to go about fishing. Continually they searched for new and better methods of fishing and for new and better definitions of fishing. They sponsored costly nationwide and world-, wide congresses to discuss fishing and to promote fishing and hear about all the ways of fishing, such as the new fishing equipment, fish calls, and whether any new bait was discovered. These fishermen built large, beautiful buildings called "Fishing Headquarters." The plea was that everyone should be a fisherman and every fisherman should fish. One thing they didn't do, however; they didn't fish. All the fishermen seemed to agree that a board was needed which could challenge fishermen to be faithful in fishing. The board was formed by those who had the great vision and courage to speak about fishing, to define fishing, and to promote the idea of fishing in faraway streams and lakes where many other fish of different colours lived. Large, elaborate, and expensive training centers were built, whose purpose was to teach fishermen how to fish. Those who taught had doctorates in fishology. But the teachers did not fish. They only taught fishing. Some spent much study and travel to learn the art of fishing and to see faraway places where the founding fathers did great fishing in the centuries past. They lauded the faithful fishermen of years before who handed down the idea of fishing. Many who felt the call to be fishermen responded. They were commissioned and sent to fish. And they went off to foreign lands ... to teach fishing. Now it is true that many of the fishermen sacrificed and put up with all kinds of difficulties. Some lived near the water and bore the smell of dead fish every day. They received the ridicule of some who made fun of their fishermen's clubs. They anguished over those who were not committed enough to attend the weekly meetings to talk about fishing. After all, were they not following the Master who said, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men?" Imagine how hurt some were when, one day, a person suggested that those who don't catch fish were really not fishermen, no matter how much they claimed to be. Yet it did sound correct. Is a person a fisherman if, year after year, he/she never catches a fish? Is one following if he/she isn't fishing?

God called me with three mandates. One of them was to: "Give Youths a sense of purpose and achievement." As at the time of this writing, I have been involved in Teens and Youths ministry for thirty three (33) years. I started out in 1982 as Assistant Secretary/ Librarian, Student Christian Movement (SCM) University of Nigeria, Enugu campus. I set up fellowship library during my tenure. I served as State General Secretary Nigerian Christian Coppers Fellowship (NCCF) Niger State. I preached my first open air crusade as a Youth Corper in 1984. I was appointed as a Youth Pastor in First Baptist Church after my service year. When I later joined Foursquare Gospel Church, Shomolu in 1986, I served variously as Membership Chairman, Organizing Secretary, Vice President, and President, of the 2000 strong church. The assignment that got me into the main stream of teens and youth work was when I was appointed President, Agape Conference International. This conference has played host to thousands of Teens and Youths annually since 1984, attracting participants from about 400 churches representing 203 denominations from 33 states of Nigeria. It has been my privilege to preside over this conference since 1987 till date. I have been pastoring youth oriented churches for over two decades and currently serving as District Overseer. Teens and Youth ministry has remained my major focus. 80% of our present 1,000 strong congregations are under 30 years old. I wrote this book to document my over thirty years practical experience in teens and youths ministry. It is my conviction that it is much easier and cheaper to prepare young people than to repair old adults. The dropout rate of youths and teens from churches is alarming. Old generation churches are lamenting the "loss" of youth population to "new" generation chapels. The real actual loss is the loss of our teens to drug abuse, nominalism, premarital sex and cultism. Most pulpits in the land don't have the answer, except platitudes and living in denial. Clergy are still living with old realities. Analog minds on the pulpit cannot provide answers to the questions of digital minds in the pews. We need to download the unchanging words of God to the contemporary world in a timely fashion. This is why I wrote this book. How do we Pastor the Facebook Generation? This book provides practical insights, based on proven experience. How do we make Teens to develop interest in our churches and Bible studies? How do we set up Teens Church? How can we have more youth friendly churches? How do we engage the youth culture? How do we invade the Teens world on what to wear, why sex must wait and many other burning issues? This is why I wrote this book of hundred chapters. This book can be used as training manual for Youth Leaders and Youth Ministers. I highlighted 56 out of 100 lessons I have learnt in thirty years of Teens and youth ministry. You can learn from either of both sources mistakes or mentors. This book, 101 Ways To Attract, Retain And Train Youths And Teens In Your Church, will prevent you from making the mistakes that are common with youth leaders. The book comes handy as a mentorship manual. Read it chapter by chapter in leadership group discussions.
21 Supernatural Tools For Business Success: Successful Business Plan Secrets And Strategies
Feasibility studies are not always feasible in the spiritual world of business. Computer-aided process planning and strategic alliances are impotent, in the face of demonic manipulation and remote control. Business process re-engineering is fickle, in the field of charms and 'jazz', diabolical powers. The business world is a war zone. There are unfriendly friends as business partners. Friendly fires accompany joint ventures. It is a battle zone full of deception, cruelty, self-abuse, compromise, charms, risk, demonic manipulation and disappointment. Come to think of it, 90 percent of businesses set up today will die within the next five years It is only 10 out of 100 of those who survive the first five years, that will last another five years. That was our finding at 2007 when our sixth book, 'HOW TO MAKE YOUR FIRST MILLION' was published. Five years later, the reality is this: 99% of all starting businesses will fail within ten years. The global economic recession was not in sight and never predicted as a possibility by economic experts. Millions of jobs have been lost, well established businesses, world class companies came crumbling. Stock market worldwide collapsed. Money failed once again on earth. All the scientific postulations and high-sounding theories have fallen flat on their faces. The foundation of the mighty Wall Street Barons, J. B. Morgan Empire, media empires, even oil companies are crumbling. The heat is burning as predicted by the Book of books, "For behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as oven, and all the proud, yea, all that do wickedly shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave neither rot nor branch" (Malachi 4:1). MONEY FAILETH The global financial situations world has passed the stage of prophecy. It is happening real time, big time, rapidly now. Money is fast loosing its value. The lower denominations of most countries are already being phased. out. As at the week of this writing, Central Bank of Nigeria was about converting N5, N10 and N20 notes into coins. US dollar is losing its place in the global basket of currencies. Financial Times reported that in August 2012, the Central Banks of Nigeria and Tanzania joined their counterparts from other continents, in adding more Chinese renminbi or Yuan to their reserves. The Managing Director of Standard Bank, Beijing, China Bing Fan predicted, "We expect that in five years, roughly 20 percent of the African total reserves of $500bn will go renminbi." His reason? "As the dollar loses its value and the euro stands on the edge of the cliff, the renminbi has posed as the best choice at the moment for the African Central Bank reserve portfolio." Well, Fan was wise enough to limit his comment to "at the moment." That was as it was in Egypt of old, it is now. "And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said; give us bread; for why should we die in thy presence? For the money faileth" (Gen 47:15). The times ahead are impossible times, too hot to be handled with human strength. "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall" (Malachi 4:2).
