Furious and weary, Angus Shea wants out, but he can't stop the magic powering his visions. The Celts kidnapped him when he wasn't much more than a boy and forced him to do their bidding. He's sick of them and their endless assignments, but they wiped his memories, and he has no idea where he came from.Arianrhod prefers to work alone, mostly because she harbors a dirty little secret. She's not exactly a virgin, and she'd be laughed out of the Pantheon if the truth surfaced. Despite the complications of leading a double life, she's never found a lover who tempted her to walk away from her fellow Celtic gods. That comes to a crashing halt when she meets Angus in Fire Mountain, the dragons' home world. Attraction ignites, hot and so urgent Arianrhod's carefully balanced life teeters on the brink of discovery. Angus is everything she's ever wanted, but he's far too close to her Celtic kin to keep her secret safe. Angus wants her too, but she's a Celt. He's hated them forever, and she's part of everything he's lain awake nights plotting to escape from.

A witch with no loyalties... A Druid with a life-shattering secret...Part witch, part demon, Sorcha's been on the run ever since she escaped Hell's gates. Bouncing through time, she's managed to stay one step ahead of Rhea Roskelly, blackest of Black Witches, who wants her for her demon blood. Constantly looking over one shoulder is annoying, but freedom is worth any price.Tavin used to be a Druid. Actually, he still is, but his magic took a decidedly unDruidlike turn a few years back. Rather than deal with his kinsmen, who'd be convinced he sold his soul to evil, he drops out of sight.Things have changed since he left. A lot. Roskelly witches are part of the Druids' community. To his dismay, another witch appears out of nowhere, except this one is half demon. Certain he must be mistaken, he drops his invisibility illusion to take a closer look. If Druids have been corrupted by Black Magic, he'll have to intervene. The odds are hideous, but he has no choice.

Beware of witches, especially ones who pretend not to be...Born a Roskelly witch, Liliana's spent most of her life running from who she is. Wielding dark power is dangerous, seductive. Mostly, she passes as human--until a clumsy spell lands her in 1890s Glasgow, and her web of fabrications collapses. Blackest of Black Magic workers, her Roskelly kinswomen are on the move. Risen from their crypts, they've set their sights on anyone standing in their way.Sean makes certain Druid wealth remains invisible. Consumed by the seedy world of offshore havens, he's caught unaware and shanghaied backward in time. Furious at being targeted, he vows any witch who crosses his path will die a fiery death. He may have pissed off the Roskellys, but he'll make damn good and sure they rue the day they bullied him.He tracks Liliana, intent on using his power to flay skin from bone, but something about her brings him up short. She may be a Roskelly, but the taint of wicked power isn't obvious. Beyond that, she's so alluring, she steals his wits. No longer hellbent on her destruction, he shrouds himself in invisibility determined to sort things out.

A druid's determination...A witch's stormy rite of passage... Katerina eats, sleeps, and breathes cultural anthropology. The only stain on her success is her worry she'll go mad just like a few other women in her family. That fear rockets to the fore when she's on a lecture tour in the Scottish Highlands and hallucinations grab her, visions rife with horrors straight out of medieval folklore.Arlen, Arch Druid for all of Great Britain, hasn't called on his magic much in the past hundred years. No need for it in the midst of the twenty-first century. While attending a lecture, he detects fell forces. A closer look reveals the impossible. He'd thought the Roskelly witches long dead. Brutal, feral, violent, they were the force behind Scotland's bloodiest clan wars. Risen from their crypts, they're intent on Katerina. What he can't figure out is why. Finally A challenge for his long-neglected powers. Far from being grateful, though, Katerina doesn't trust him. Why should she? A headlong dash to escape his unwanted attention lands her three hundred years in the past with no way out.

Vampires don't fall in love. Except I did. Not the best decision of my long life. I definitely cracked an unspoken line, but Ariana trounced me as far as line-crossing went. Very few acts constitute crimes in Vampire circles. Hers was the worst. I fled to the Old Country to buy myself thinking time.I still loved her, but what she'd done was so vile I couldn't set it aside. The world is a very different place from when I went into stasis. I woke to wars on every side. Vampires are scarcely strangers to battle. No one's ever accepted us, but they've mostly let us be. It's different this time. Very different. Mortals won't rest until they've wiped out magic.Normally, their efforts would be laughable, but they've coopted help from mages. Ones they've imprisoned and systematically stripped of power until the poor sods would agree to anything in exchange for their freedom--and their magic. We face huge problems, but I'm tackling them one by one. I'll return to Ariana's side, but perhaps only as her comrade-in-arms. Time will tell if we can be more to each other.Time and circumstances. In a world without magic, Vampires will wither along with every other magic-wielder. I cannot let that happen.

I chose stasis--a long sleep--for me and two of mine. Hard to time these things, but we woke in the eye of a cyclone. When I went to sleep--to avoid being drained of magic and blood by dark Sorcerers--Vampires weren't exactly on the endangered species list, but not many of us are left. No one ever accepted us. Not mortals and not others with power, either. At least one of those dams has developed a few cracks. Supernaturals aren't quite welcoming, but they'll take help from any quarter.Mortals have declared war on magic, and they won't rest until we're all sitting in iron-clad prisons. What a bunch of cowards. If they weren't hiding behind false humanitarian walls, they'd be honest about their intentions and do their damnedest to kill us outright. The world turned into an alien place while I slept. Not much point returning to my clan house in Italy. It's probably long since disbanded. Besides, fate tossed me squarely in Ariana's path. She's like me, a Vampire, but I hunger for her in a very un-Vampirelike way. She's tried hard to chase me away, but I'm tough to dissuade. She doesn't know it, but I won't back off until she's mine.No matter what it takes.

My very existence is under attack. I've kept a low profile, told myself the craziness sweeping the world would pass me by. Yeah, it was wishful thinking, actually an outright lie, but it's kept me sane.I've been hiding out forever in one guise or another. Currently, I run a nightclub. Ascent is an "ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies" haven. For everybody. I'm a Vampire. Far be it from me to judge. My closest ally is a shapeshifting dire wolf. I adopted him when he was a scrawny puppy, but I'm getting ahead of my tale. The fragile d tente between supernaturals and humans has crashed and burned. I can't avoid the truth any longer. Lucky for me, mortals don't know exactly what I am. When I moved to Seattle, some vampiric sixth sense urged me to play my cards close to my vest, but I'm done burying my secrets. And my power. It's past time for supernaturals to get over their stupid infighting. Meh. So what if Witches hate Druids? Or Fae never deal with Sorcerers? We have to pull together, or we'll have no chance at all.Not that it's likely, but if any mortals see the light and sign up for our side, we'd damn well better welcome them.I'm Ariana Hawke. No more skulking in the shadows for me.

They come round and bite you in the ass.The second book in a magic-laced, fast-paced, fantasy trilogy. With dragons.I'd rather fight than study, but I'm stuck poring over dusty scrolls. Meanwhile, my friends the witches are playing fast and loose with remaining hidden. My Celtic kin won't bother them anymore--at least I don't think they will. But far worse things rove Earth than the Celtic gods. The Breaking has developed an energy all its own. The longer it runs wild, the harder it will be to contain.Soon, very soon, no magic in the Nine Worlds will be enough to counteract it. Once that happens, the few remaining mortals will go first, but the rest of us won't be far behind them.

Breeding farms spring up on distant outposts, spitting out all manner of evil. Banished eons ago by the dragon god, the serpents are making a comeback. As the dragons seek allies, they uncover still more atrocities.Katya, dragon shifter and twin to the dragon prince, thought she wanted Johan as her mate, but he has more rough edges than she counted on. Large Print EditionAfter her Celtic kin proved too big a bunch of bastards to bother with, Rowan sought solace among witches. The first book in a magic-laced, fast-paced fantasy trilogy. With dragons. After the Breaking, not much was left. I assumed it was a case of magic gone bad--until I discovered my goddess mother had broken the world. She didn't like it that I'd turned my back on the pantheon. My long tenure among witches rubbed salt into the wound. After a confrontation where Mommy Dearest fessed up--and lacked the decency to bat an eyelash about the widespread destruction she'd caused--I was digesting what to do next when a dragon showed up.Yes. A dragon. The beast didn't talk with me or anything, but it flew overhead wreaking havoc on a goblin horde. Witches are old souls with kind hearts, but they're not particularly strong magically, so I was grateful for the help. And suspicious as hell. Why a dragon? Why here and why now? More importantly, why was he--she?--helping me? Part of me didn't want to know, and another part was certain I'd find out anyway.

When several humans--all but two of them dead--end up not far from their lair, the opportunity is too good to pass up.If the lore is to be believed, humans can become dragon shifters. Delighted by a simple solution to their enforced isolation, the dragons lure the humans to their home. Surely, they'll be thrilled by the prospect of becoming magical.Or not.Too bad no one shared the script with the humans. Science be damned, they're horrorstruck in the face of fire-breathing dragons.
