A collection of poetry aiming to break down some of the stigma that is associated with both chronic and mental illness. The inspiration for the collection is the idea that you cannot recover from chronic illness - it is here to stay (breaking) but if you put the work in to recovery from mental illness it is possible to get better and to have a life worth living (mending)

Hello and thank you for choosing to read my book. My name is Anna Gray. I am a 37-year-old woman from Belfast and this is my story of Transformation. I have lived in Belfast for most of my life, spending some time living in Dublin with my family when I was younger and a little time living in Scotland too. It was important to me that this book is more than just a story of my life, because the issues that I write about throughout it are bigger than me and touch so many people's lives every day. I wanted to offer my story and to address some of these larger issues from the perspective of what I have learned about them, both personally and professionally. Throughout my book, I will address topics such as bullying, self-harm, trichotillomania, alcohol abuse, intimate partner relationship violence, counselling and healing practices to name but some.

Art in Western Australia has always been independent of the art made elsewhere in Australia. The isolation of Perth and surrounding areas, particularly in the 19th century, ensured that its art would be distinctive. When early explorers and settlers arrived, they were mesmerized by the light, heat, long horizons, and vast expanses, which motivated them to create idyllic imagery of the Australian landscape. By the end of the 19th century, a professional art scene had begun to develop, with exhibitions, teachers, and art schools. This book illustrates drawings, prints, and paintings, as well as fine furniture and metalwork from explorers and settlers' early years in Western Australia.

George Washington Lambert (1873-1956) was one of Australia's most brilliant, witty, and influental artists, "the Australian Sargent," according to Barry Humphries. This comprehensive book presents the diverse range of Lambert's work from Australian bush subjects to Edwardian portraits and figure groups, from sparkling oil sketches to major battle paintings and large sculpture. Born in St. Petersburg to an American father and British mother, Lambert first came to Australia at age 13 and spent twenty years of his adult career based in London. His flamboyant personality and personal magnetism helped promote his art, though his popularity diminished after his death.
