The story is from an old era when people had limited modes of communication and long-distance relationships were based mostly on letters. Technology was still advancing and had few modes to connect with family and friends staying far away. The story starts with Akash, working in Bangalore, finding a friend during a chat. Avni, a girl from Nainital, works as a lecturer in a college. They started with formal talks which eventually took a turn, and they found solace in each other's company. Despite being in a distant relationship their bond blossomed like a flower and with each passing day it added more colors and joy to their heart. The story takes a turn, where Akash lost touch with Avni due to some unavoidable personal challenges. What happened next is beautifully crafted in this story. This book talks about different shades of life effectively. This story conveys that "The beautiful journey of today can only begin when we learn to let go of yesterday".
