Chandra's Quest to check in on Granny Carr and return the family treasure Granny had sent her, had become problematic. The last letter Granny had sent contained the cameo, an important gem to the family history. Now that she had recovered from a nasty bout of flu, she arrived to discover that Granny Carr was missing, It didn't help that Granny's stepson, Marcus Carr, had arrived on the scene moments after her arrival. Their initial meeting was fraught with tension and distrust. He suspected her motive in coming and she was finding it hard to resist him, the man who was the exact image of his forefather, the Duc de Montepeire, of whom Chandra had been mesmerized since a child. Together they needed to put aside personal feelings in their quest to find Granny. A mysterious stranger and pilfered treasures only made matters worse. Would Granny's fate ever be discovered? I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I started writing when my children were young. I was feeling the need for adult conversation and discovered romance novels. After voraciously reading hundreds if not thousands of them I started writing for my own enjoyment. Recently my granddaughters started reading my books. This summer will mark fifty-teo years of marriage to my husband. Fifty-two wonderful years of laughter and puns have left their mark on me. There have been tears and arguments but mostly they were filled with a love that shines through in my writing. My first published book, A Promise to Keep, was one of the first novels I wrote. I did have a non-fiction book published by Standard Publishing back in the late 80's, early 90's, and several of my poems have been published. She woke to discover that she was in a hospital, that she had amnesia and her name was Helen Mitchell. She was also told that she was engaged to the incomprehensible Reid Spencer. Because she didn't know where she lived, she was coerced into going home with Reid. If it weren't for Carolyn, Reid's mother, she wouldn't have gone. She could have easily withstood Reid's criticism, but Carolyn's heartfelt plea touched her heart, and she gave in. Reid's Jekyll-Hyde attitude confused and dismayed her. In the moments when he treated her with gentleness, she could understand why she had apparently accepted his proposal. However, those moments were few and far between. When she accidentally discovered she was an artist, Carolyn urged her to use her art to recover her memory. Could it be true? Could her art unlock her memories? And if it did, what would it reveal? I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I started writing when my children were young. I was feeling the need for adult conversation and discovered romance novels. I enjoy putting together a monthly newsletter for my church, as well as reading, music, camping and most of all, being with my family. The book provides a full complement of assessment technologies that enable leaders to measure and evaluate performance using qualitative and quantitative performance indicators and reference points in each of seven areas of organizational performance. While these technologies are not new, applying them in a comprehensive assessment of the performance of both academic and administrative organization in higher education is a true innovation. Assessing Organizational Performance in Higher Education defines four types of assessment user groups, each of which has unique interest in organizational performance. This offers a new perspective on who uses performance results and why they use them. These varied groups emphasize that assessment results must be tailored to fit the needs of specific groups, that “one-size-fits-all” does not apply in assessment. An assessment process must be robust and capable of delivering the right information at the right time to the right user group.

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in the United States represents one of the few successful examples of comprehensive river basin development. Established to guide the development of the resources within the Tennessee River Basin, TVA operates a wide variety of water, power, economic development, and environmental programs within the region. This report presents an overview of TVA's growth and development, its institutions, and its operational programs.
