All solos are in notation and tablature. On online recording of each solos is available with the book. These solos work well as preludes or offertories at church services or just as fun pieces to play, regardless of the setting.

Each solo has a written suggested chordal accompaniment so that a guitar or any chordal instrument can provide accompaniment. Where appropriate, capo chords are shown. The style of guitar accompaniment, fingerstyle or strum, is also indicated on each selection. The music in this book spans centuries and represents a wonderful assortment of solos which may be used as preludes or offertories throughout the various seasons in the church year.
