There's no place like home, except when you go visit Grandma. Last year I didn't have a chance to visit Grandma because of the Covid-19 virus. I thought about all the things we did together, the things she taught me, and my favorite meal. I told Mom how much I missed Grandma and our special time. She told me not worry because I was going to see Grandma during Spring Break. I was so excited I could not wait until Spring Break. I will cherish those days for the rest of my life.

This book is the first of the Sweet Southern Collections Series. It is about a young girl named Avery who visits her Grandma in the South. The books shares Grandma Memories of her family. During her visit Avery discovers an attic with lots of special treasures. Grandma and Avery transforms some of the special treasures of fabric items into a beautiful quilt for Avery. This book passes down an old tradition in the South of quilting.
