She has served as president of the International Association of Marriage and Counselors, has received numerous national awards, and has presented at national and international conferences. She is the author of numerous book chapters and articles and serves on the editorial board of The Family Journal.Janet Hicks, LPC, CSC, currently serves as professor and director of the Mental Health Counseling Program at Belmont University.
