This book is dedicated to promoting a supportive integration through the pandemic. COVID-19 was the first global pandemic of our time. After putting out a call for pandemic poetry, we were overwhelmed by the incredible responses received. It is our pleasure to amplify the voices of creatives. Thank you to the community of writers that were brave enough to enter. This project was made possible by the Antarctic Institute of Canada. We are forever grateful for the opportunity they have bestowed upon each of the writers of this book. We may have been isolated, but this work proves, none of us were ever truly alone.

Align With Love takes a critical look at diet culture as it is presented to us through consumerism. The Antarctic Institute of Canada granted us full autonomy to explore sustainable solutions to wellness; in contrast to the hemorrhaging consequence of advertising and promotional culture. This book exposes the realities of diet culture, diffuses the complexity that diet culture imprints on the self and empowers the individual to look within themselves for sustainable healing. This is a wellness revolution. We are asking our industry to stop capitalizing on behalf of our trauma and instead Align With Love. We hope you give yourself the permission you need to define health as you wish it to be and to live a life full of love and contentment.
