Zu diesem Zweck eignet sich die Industrie dazu, die Richtung der Technologie zu bestimmen, was zu Produktions- und Verbrauchssystemen f hrt, die sehr gut auf maximale Profiteffizienz ausgelegt sind. Was nur scheinbar die Arbeitswelt in der Fabrik, im B ro, in den Banken und im Dienstleistungssektor bev lkert, geht ber diese Umgebungen hinaus und erreicht die Wahrnehmung, die Rezeption und die Verkettung von Ideen durch die Menschen und nimmt sie vorweg. Der Schematismus, den Kant jedem von uns in der heutigen Gesellschaft zuschreibt, geh rt letztlich zum Motiv der Kapitalbildung. Jenseits von Adornos und Horkheimers Idee eines auf die Kulturindustrie beschr nkten Schematismus geht es in diesem Buch um einen Schematismus, der sich auf das industrielle technologische Produktionssystem als Ganzes ausdehnt und jeden kontrolliert, der jeden von uns s chtig macht, nicht zu denken, zu reflektieren oder danach zu streben, andere F higkeiten zu entwickeln als die, die von der Produktionstechnologie vorweggenommen werden und auch in den Konsumobjekten enthalten sind.

Al di l dell'idea di Adorno e Horkheimer di uno schematismo limitato all'industria culturale, questo libro tratta dello schematismo esteso al sistema tecnologico industriale di produzione nel suo complesso e che controlla tutti, assuefacendo ciascuno di noi a non pensare, riflettere o sforzarsi di sviluppare capacit diverse da quelle anticipate dalla tecnologia di produzione e contenute anche negli oggetti di consumo.
