Theodora is a private detective for the police department in Urania, Utah (named when a vein of uranium made it prosperous). Her career as a detective has been largely uneventful until she is handed a case of fourteen missing who have never been found. As she investigates, she discovers a past filled with tragedy, vengeance, and bloodshed as Theodora uncovers a monster the townspeople of Urania helped create even before she even came to live. Worst of all, she discovers that several of the people she knew (and all of the missing) were more involved in creating this beast than anyone would care to admit. Can she save the missing without opening a Pandora's that could ruin Urania by dividing its townspeople or will angry mobs hang her for uncovering a part of their past many people hope would remain buried? At the center of it all is one man with an unusual dream whose part in the town becomes clearer and clearer as the investigation intensifies.

Examining the influence of Thomas Aquinas and his followers upon the seventeenth century Puritan theologian John Owen, this book breaks new ground in exploring the impact of medieval thought upon Reformed scholasticism. Cleveland argues that Owen uses Thomistic ideas in two ways: first in an Augustinian fashion arguing against Pelagian and semi-Pelagian ideas of human independency; second in a Trinitarian fashion, with Thomistic ideas affecting the understanding of each person of the Trinity. The resulting theological formulation is strongly Western and Orthodox and provides a helpful model for theological formulation seeking to build upon a Western Christian foundation. The works of the Reformed theologian John Owen have long been admired for their depth and theological sophistication. In this book Cleveland fills a significant gap in Owen studies by pursuing a deeper understanding of the role that Thomas Aquinas and the school of thought known as Thomism played in Owen's theology, from his works on providence and salvation by the Holy Spirit to his Christological work.

Martha is a young woman with an old problem. Since the year 2099, she has been the breadwinner of her family in a world decimated by fights for food and water. However, one day an old man approaches her, telling her that he knows who her biological father is and promises that there is a great destiny ahead for her if she joins his alliance of alleged demigods, supposedly born from the blood of Greek and Roman Olympian gods from Greek myth. Also, according to this old man, the Titans of the same legends have risen from Tartarus and deposed their mortal foes in Byzantine days, planning everything that has happened to humanity since in a bid to lay the final fatal blow. Could it be true that the gods of Olympus exist and could it be possible that Martha may not only be a demigod herself but also one with a special destiny concerning the King of the Titans himself? Time is short for humanity and the battle between the Coalition of demigods and the Titans wage on while humanity suffers. Will Martha find her true place in the world or will everything fall before she knows who she really is? Find out all in the Kingdom of Demigods, a world fraught with unfathomable dangers as the remaining beast of Greco-Roman legend have arisen from slumber to destroy the last of Mortal-kind in one last blaze of Glory.
